Maidana is a far harder puncher than Prescott - why people are debating this I've no idea.

Judah has miles more one punch power than maidana. And that's how you'd knock khan out, catch him with a flush shot the sends him gaga.

And I expected him to smash through maidana, not run from him.

You say hollow revenge, I say the guy has beaten everyone if has ever fought :)

Not debatable? What facts do you have to back up your claim?

Judah's uppercut is one of the best punches in boxing.

And knocking out corey spinks is miles more impressive than anything maidana has ever done.

Zab gases and loses his pop in a few rounds, I agree for first few rounds Zab is dangerous.

People need to remember Maidana hit Khan with full on hard shots in the first half of the fight with no effects and Maidana is a big puncher.

I shouldn't really bother answering that..... but here goes.....

To suggest Prescott is anywhere near on that level is laughable.

In terms of evidence, he failed to put a dent in the average chinned, Euro class super feather Kevin Mitchell - who was looked at for a couple of rounds by Katsidis and stopped almost immediately after Kats turned up the heat.

He was taken 10 by a journeyman in the fight immediately prior to facing Khan.

Maidana has stopped Cayo, Ortiz, Komjathy (who was rarely stopped around that time) and several other good fighters.

He will always struggle if the opponent has a lot of movement or blocks right hands well - but he's far superior to a wild slugger like Prescott in all departments.

Aside from Khan - who clearly had issues at the time - who has Prescott stopped?

A load of fighters without a win to their name..... all the better fighters he's faced have extended him into the later rounds.

He's not a big puncher, end of story.

He knocked out spinks in the second half of the fight. In their first fight he dropped him hard in the final round.

I always said maidana weren't stopping khan, anyone who can look past the hype should know that! Hell the guy couldn't stop corley a man who is so badly shot he should have his licence revoked.

I don't want to have to look back through 35 pages, can someone tell me how Judah fits into all this?

Rather than use abc logic lets have a quick look at common opponents...

Let's. Let's look at lots of examples of a lesser puncher stopping a fighter quicker than a heavier puncher..... who may not have scored the stoppage at all.

    Leonard TKO15 Benitez
    Hearns MD15 Benitez

    Trinidad TKO12 Vargas
    DLH TKO11 Vargas
    Mosley TKO10 Vargas

    Mosley L UD12 Cotto
    Margarito TKO11 Cotto

    etc etc.....

Prescott did beat Khan, and fair play to him I guess, but let's not pretend he's a good fighter or murderous puncher. Because he's neither.

Oh **** off. So Maidana, who stopped top operators in Ortiz and Cayo, was never going to stop Khan - the same Khan that got dropped heavily by feather-fisted Willie Limond, knocked out by an unproven puncher in Prescott and knocked down by a past it super featherweight in Gomez?

He, like any decent puncher, has/had a chance of stopping Khan.

yeah someone said that any average puncher could knock out khan. I said that at the weight, only judah, ortiz and marquez have the one punch clean power to knock out khan.

Beeston's spot on mate. Prescott digs for about 4 rounds and then unravels. His punching form goes to bits and he becomes useless. Maidana carries his dig longer then Prescott and mixed in higher class and put guys down and many out.
