You are joking right? He showed nothing offensively and was dull and boring to watch and couldn't hit Khan cleanly to save his life. Khan was pretty mediocre that night himself, but he wasn't motivated. That much was obvious, even a 'soft' Khan, one who had bad conditioning and had a fever before the right and was swinging wildly into thin air whilst McCoskey did his best impression of Patrick Swayze dancing around like a dick.
McCloskey was doing the rope a dope, Going to loose 11 rounds and then get a knockout in the 12 after Khan had fatigued and punched himself out. :rofl The sad thing, Most Irish people actually believe that. Khan TKO round 8
I put Mccloskey late stoppage, clearly wouldn't happen though, either Amir would have KO'd him or won every round on points IMO
McCloskey coming forward a bit more and making it a bit more competitive but still maybe winning only 2 of the last 6. So basically Khan UD. But we'll never know and as we all know anything can happen in boxing.

I think once Paul opened up a bit, he may have been stopped late on. With what happened we were denied an exciting climax either way imo.
oh for ****s sake The fight is over, forget about it and move on. McCloskey will fight again and so will Khan anything else is just conjecture. ANYTHING could have happened, this is boxing, this is why we love it. There would have been bigger upsets than McCloskey stopping china whiskers Khan in boxing for years but McCloskey fought below his abilities with a **** gameplan and as ANYTHING could have happened Khan could have takim him out with one shot too. anything you all say (and 90% are coming on with agendas, which swing both ways) is a load of ****ing shite and utterly pointless.
i've put Khan UD but i think there could have been a mercy stoppage after 10 or 11 to stop an even more sustained beating of McCloskey. He didn't have a hope in hell of pulling out a win.
