Its suprised me because why not wait a week, then try and get the Morales fight. An easier fight against a bigger name.

Unless they know Morales don't want it.

 

I'd rather either fighter against Morales

 

Morales already said he don't want Khan. Would pretty much be a guaranteed win for Khan.

 

Morales said that he is not ready for Khan

 

So Ortiz is a legit opponent for PBF but the guy who Victor couldnt beat aint good enough for Khan?

 

This fight is good, Peterson is legit top 10, but i just don't expect it to be entertaining

 

It will also give mayweather a look

 

I don't know why all the Khan haters are mocking this fight like peterson is an absolute bum. Besides Bradley who else to fight at 140? Do you think Prescott has a chance against Peterson? **** No! Yet you want Khan to fight him and avenge his when it's clearly a mismatch. atsch

 

this id a perfect fight for khan. peterson is arguably the most talented fighter out there for khan other than timothy bradley. his draw against ortiz and victory over cayo means its a very decent name to have on his record.

i think khan will look good in beating peterson though. khan seems to struggle against two thing. lateral head movement(mccloskey) and constant pressure and power(maidana) peterson has a little of both styles but he's not great at either of them. he doesn't have the power to hurt khan and he isn't slick enough to avoid his shots.

can see this fight being competitive early on then with khan connecting more and more he will slow peterson down and take him out late on. should be a great fight though.

 

What an uninspiring fight.

Peterson has two problems, the fact he puts the ear muffs on will invite Khan to utilize his speed/combination punching, and the fact he attacks in straight lines, means the movement will probably offset his aggression to.

 

Great fight can't wait to see it.

 

Shouldn't he just put his IBF title on the line or does it have 2 be both. Could be fight of the year you never know. This will be a good boxing match 2 watch.
