Honestly, Bradley should be fighting him, and after all the **** Bradley talked, you would expect that...

    Unfortunately, that isn't the case.

Ducking your opponent after talking a whole lot of **** seems to be the norm in boxing these days.

Peterson has a lot of potential, but I think the one sided (on the score cards), although very competitive bout against the multi-dimensional and very tough (although he punked out against Khan) Bradley, took something out of him.

In that fight though he showed a lot athletic potential, but it was obvious that he still needed some experience and further development in his skills.

He then got knocked around the ring by a hard charging Ortiz, but Ortiz is obviously not here to play games anymore, and perhaps Peterson took him lightly.

Peterson will be a tough fight for Khan, he has good movement, fast hands, and is a solid well rounded fighter. I think this is a great fight, and while I would favor Khan, I think Peterson is definitely good enough to make it interesting and I wouldn't be completely shocked if he won. Peterson may not have the big name that some do, but he's a damn good fighter, and should be respected as such.

He's underrated, in my opinion. I liked his resolve in the Ortiz fight.

Lol...at the cats who clearly don't know **** about Peterson and what he brings to the table. If you think Khan is about to "destroy" this dude, you are in for a major shock. Peterson is beatable, no doubt about it, but he isn't going to be shown up and embarassed by anybody. I think this is a great fight and for damn sure better than a Morales fight, no disrespect to Morales (he WAS a great fighter).

I haven't seen the fight, but as far as i know, it was an robbery. But then again, it is a good move if you thinking about the future. Maywether fights Ortiz(Southpaw - Manny is a southpaw) Khan fights Peterson (Black and slick) So he is probably just preparing for maywether.

khans proly gunna woop him, wen ortiz fought peterson to me it seemed liked ortiz took it easy on him. an ortiz did the same thing vs nate campbell. i think ortiz was just tryin to get sum rounds under his belt in his recovery from gettin beat down by maidana.

easy fight for khan wide ud most likely.

I don't know, as someone who's been uninspired about this match from the start, I'm certainly not going to hate on Peterson for getting his shot. I actually sympathized with him not taking the fight in April and am happy that he's been able to earn what is likely a bigger payday this time around. I do however take issue with anyone trying to spin this as somehow being a high risk fight for Khan; he's taking on a worthy, credible challenger but it's also a match-up that very much favors him.
