Khan vs peterson is on!! Info on Peterson & Floyd Sparing.

Apparently, Bradley may be featuring on the undercard of Pac-JMM. So expect Pac-May to be delayed further, with them choosing to fight Bradley and Khan after they're done with JMM and Ortiz.

 

Mega meh, McCloskey, Judah and Peterson isnt exactly the most inspiring year, at least he's active though I suppose.

Who would you have him fight, given that Bradley appears to be running scared?

 

Sounds alright, Not the kind of fight to get pulses racing but a good fight against a live opponent. I like it more than fights against past it "names" like Judah. Khan should win it of course but Peterson is solid, and probably deserved to beat Victor Ortiz.

Just a decent defence against a top 10 opponent. Can't really complain as there's not much else out there.

However, it's not really a PPV-calibre fight but I'm sure it'll end up on Primetime :-(

 

Khan was talking of fighting once more at the weight, with everyone assuming that would be Morales for the WBC crown. Is that fight still going to happen?

Surely Khan can't claim to be King if he moves up with just two of the four titles, having dodged Morales and Bradley by doing so?

I still want to see Khan vs Bradley for supremacy. If it happens at Khan's current weight class or the one above - either way it's a fight that MUST happen.

This Peterson fight is just another day of business for Khan. Decent, fairly well-known American opponent to get his name circulated more in the States. I'm reminded of the Malignaggi fight and expect a similar outcome and degree of difficulty for Khan.

 

Morales has said that if he wins the title he won't be fighting Khan in December, so that's off the table.

Khan has beaten Maidana, the man who beat Morales. Just because the WBC have decided to gift Morales a belt doesn't mean that Khan has to beat him as well to prove he is No.1. The only man he can beat to do that is Tim Bradley. If Bradley doesn't/can't get in the ring, what can he do?
