After seeing Khan loosing to Peterson and wanting immediately to avenge his loss. Shouldn't he also avenge his other loss to Prescott? The only person who ko'd him.
But after Khan defeated Peterson he could still beat the **** out of the one embarrassing loss on his record.
I'm not so sure about Maidana, but definitely Prescott. If he could avenge that KO that would take a lot of doubt away about his heart.
True but does he really need to? Ain't gonna stop people questioning his chin and if he loses he will be the laughing stock of boxing. It would be like cotto fighting Lara. High risk low reward
I just have a feeling he can beat Prescott pretty convincingly. He'd never have went near him again before the other week but it might be a good option for him now. That ****** might always stay on his back though, there might be a psychological barrier that always remains...
Freddy Roach wants to wait until Prescott is older and shot. Then they'll lure Prescott into the rematch with a nice paycheck.
Yes I agree about the high risk low reward stuff. But Cotto also took such a fight for redemption against Margarito. And I think it paid off. Aren't the things that matter: honour and legacy?
Yeah Prescott once knocked him out, but this day and age Khan is a top 3 light-welter, and Prescott has lost his last 2 including a loss to McCloskey
I'd like to see Khan avenge his losses like Lennox did...but! Prescott at this stage is all risk and no reward! Say he beats him soundly..what does that do for him career wise? Probably nothing - people will just say well Prescotts a journeyman anyway so what? But against such a puncher whilst I think a careful Khan wins easily this time around there is always that danger of getting hit with a shot that could seriously damage his career earning and place in the world rankings for a long time! As well as the physcologilcal damagee it would bring. So Prescott maybe later, let Khan fight for his belts back thats a far more important fight and also a lot more money for it to. Prescott has failed at top level really and his only real win of note is his lucky win vs Khan.
