If theres NOTHING else decent out there for Kahn then I suppose at least Kahn-Prescott has an angle but thats about it....

The WBC won't have Bradley has champ because he vacated their belt when he won the WBO version. Real kids stuff from Suliaman....

prescott knokced khan out in under a minute.

your post lacks consistency, on one hand you say prescott is **** and undeserving and on the other you say khan should have an easy fight.

it is widely recognised that prescott is not a top 10 fighter, but he has knocked khan out and deserves his shot based on that fact.

    beating prescott brings khan closure.

as mentioned previosuly, judah and maybe ortiz are unavailable.

so you would rather see him vs mcloskey than prescott? gtfo.

Sorry to snip your post mate but that is VERY debatable. Beating a future champ but then getting beat yourself in fairly average company isn't usually enough to get a world title shot.

like I said its a high risk fight, one that he doesn't need to take. If he wants to set the record straight then fine, but he doesn't have to.

I wouldn't mind a Prescott fight, I'll go to the pub if its on PPV. There are more worthy foes out there though, even for a keep busy.

    average company?

vazquez is a current champ, and mitchell is a good prospect.

and he didn't just beat a future champ, he knocked him out in devastating fashion. he is khans only loss.

no one said he had too. the whole thread is about recognising it is the best stay busy fight that he can take. I can't think of a fight he could have in april that would mean as much.

judah is fighting ortiz/mabuza so they are out. peterson is a worthless fight, a victory for khan would look good on his resume, but it isn't too special considering his last two fights. and mcloskey lol.

the prescott fight is the best available IMO.

From a UK fan point of view Prescott fight does make sense, but from a GBP and HBO point of view Peterson fight makes more sense as Peterson is some what known at 140, and a guy who went 12rds with the No.1 140 fighter Bradley.

If Khan can stop Peterson then it could make another good statement before he fights the winner of Bradley-Alexander.

    Mitchell? Come on....

Like I say, those circumstances don't usually mean you "deserve" a world title shot. Even now people are only talking about this fight because Zab is busy, Ortiz is busy, Peterson is boring, Bradley and Alexander are tied up fighting each other etc etc.

I can see the angle for selling a Prescott-Khan fight because Kahn maybe has nothing better to do but Prescott doesn't "deserve" a title shot ahead of the other top 10 ranked guys in the division just because he banjoed Kahn a couple of years ago.

Don't get me wrong mate, I don't care if Prescott gets a crack at the title or not, I was just saying that KOing Khan a couple of years ago doesn't mean he deserves it ahead of the other guys at 140lbs.
