No its not the best fight available I'm afraid. There are better fighters, and therefore better fights available. Lamont Peterson being one of those.

People seem to be judging Lamont off the Ortiz bout.

The Bradley fight knocked his confidence a lot when he faced Ortiz that showed in early rounds. As the fight went on he gained more confidence and started to land well and win rounds and got the draw. The Bradley fight he showed he's not type to just roll over he stuck in there and was competitive but Bradley was in great form that night.

Whats this bull about stay busy fight anyway? Is that supposed to mean 'easy' fight? If he wants an easy fight why not fight a bum to stay busy? Otherwise, pick the best of the names on the table, of which Prescott is not one of them. Either way the fight should not be high on the agenda.

Surely vs. Paul McCloskey would be a good scrap easy to sell?

Pointless fight in my opinion. He just better a better version in Maidana. Prescott is seriously limited. He was outboxed by Kevin Mitchell

Its a sport upsets happen why give undeserving precott a shot for very little reward other than a decent pay cheque, whcih is one of the only reasons it could happen. Khan should put that episode behind him, the fight teaches him nothing precott is hardly a different incarnation of bradley/alexander

McCloskey would be an easier fight for Khan than Prescott or any of the other people mentioned.

dont think the public in England have the slightest idea who McCloskey is either.

Prescott does NOT deserve a world title shot! I say Khan face Peterson in April and then a July bout with prescott (to finally shut up the critics) but the fight being a NON-TITLE match up!

Wouldn't be interested in this at all. Prescott has been dominated twice since the Khan fight and really wouldn't add anything to Khan's record at this stage (sort of like he wouldn't have had, had Khan beat him first time around...).

What would making it a non-title shot achieve? If he's not worthy... don't fight him.
