How do you all see this fight playing out? Stylewise I thinkt his fight would be an absolute NIGHTMARE for Hatton. But at the same time I doubt Khan's chin could hold up from a hard punch of hattons. at the same time, you actually need to be able to land a shot against a fighter to KO him, thats why Wlad Klitschko and Lennox went so far in thier careers despite having bad chins.

Anyways, in 1-2 years I think this fight can happen. Thoughts?

    Omg...don't get too carried away...

Hatton would walk him down and destroy him...

    Khan's not on that level...yet...

Why would this be on absolute nightmare for Hatton? :nut

Even if Khan had a solid chin this would be a nightmare for Amir Khan.

Khan can't deal with pressure well. He has no inside fighting ablity, he can't fight inside and he can't defend himself inside and has trouble seeing hooks coming. Which is Hatton's money punch. Khan has zero power to trouble Hatton and stop him coming forward. At 140 Khan would lose a few percent of speed, Hatton is quick himself and would easily pin him down, especially when all he has to worry about is flurries of pitter pats.

Real Khan = KO'd in 2 rounds, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he survives the first with great trouble
Solid chinned (and body) Khan = KO'd in 5 rounds

Wow..comparing Khan to Lennox is some stretch

Lennox got starched by HUGE punches from massive guys. Arguably lucky punches, anomalies in a great career. He took a few too and dealt with them. From Klit, Tyson, Holyfield no less.

Whereas Amir is getting wobbled and floored at a lower level, by guys who are smaller than him.

Not only that, he gets tagged a fair bit too, it's not like he's elusive.

He'd have no chance at all with Hatton. He'd be steamrollered.

Khan punches harder than Paulie M bit doesn't have anywhere near the same chin. This would be a similar matchup stylewise, I can't see Khan being able to keep Hatton off him and getting KO'd very early withing the first 3 rounds.

    Hatton via murder.

Frank will wait a few years before making this fight; let Hatton gather more rust, and then throw him to the wolves........unless Khan has been Ko'd again by this point.

Not a fight to make now.

    Barely.

Nothing significant enough to make me think he's going to make Hatton think twice.

I'd say Khan's shots are stinging but he's shown no real power to speak of

Barrera said he couldn't actually even feel them which might be a bit harsh lol

He's never had anything other than ref stoppages, even against bums. That says it all.

His power at the level he is currently operating at is about the same as Calzaghe's at world class. Calzaghe at least KO'd a couple bums!

Questions like this are why people do not like Amir Khan.

I think Khan is stiff puncher (no more than that) but Hatton takes a decent shot.

    Hatton by early KO.

This is the worst possible fight for Khan in lightweight/LWW.
