I have always been a massive Amir khan fan. Not becuase i think he is the best but because i tuned in to him during the olympics and was impressed by his hand speed and skills. Since them i have followed every fight. I also think his "achillies chin" makes him intersting to watch as you never know what might happen (as we have seen)

Am i the only person that feels there has been too little exposure of his fight tomorrow on ESB? I expected there to be a lot more articles, but have only seen a few.

Is it because this is primarily a U.S site, or is it because the majority of people are simply not interested in the fight?

Also i would like to know more about Salita as i can hardly find any fight videos of him online. Does he pose amajor threat for Khan and what are his strenghts and weaknesses going into the fight?

Let me know what you think guys.

    P.S

I dont want haters ranting biased rubbish. Please keep the arguments balanced.

Khan is gonna win by a fairly dull UD imo.

Salita's record makes him look better than he is, and I think he's a little out of his depth here.

Still wouldn't rule him out though.

Dont worry after Khan finishes with Salita, then he will be going over to the U.S and clean up the 140 division next year, then these guys will stand up and take note.

I really like Bradley but dunno if his style is actually the Kahn Krytonite you suggest I would worry more about a guy like Holt than Bradley.

Bradley is the better fighter but he is so mucxh shorter ( and shorter armed ) than Khan I think Amir could just about contain him.

Holts occasional wild punches and decent power could actually be a bigger threat

But he'll be out there next year looking to find out :good

P.S. Salita will get walked over !

I dont think there's too much talk about it because Salita is not seen as a threat

    is this post a joke?

he does not have "extreme power" by any stretch of the imagination

and he doesn't have very long to tighten up his defence if he's planning on cleaning out the 140lb division in the forseeable future

Salita vs Campos from the Calzaghe vs RJJ undercard is on youtube now. I watched it and looked at Salita's record and just can't see past Khan for this one.

The Sun said after the Kotelnik fight that he would vacate his title, duck Salita and take on Morales, implying that Salita would be too good for Khan. But in the Campos fight he looks limited, pretty slow and boring as hell! And Campos himself doesn't exactly boast an impressive record.

I think it will be a UD for Khan, but one of the few articles on ESB did suggest that Khan would wear him down and get a late knock out, which is also a possibility imo.

There's too many haters of Khan in the UK, seriously even casual boxing fans who barely watch absolutely hate him. It makes no sense as he's one of the quickest, and now with Roach, one of the most exciting boxers in Britain right now.

i was about to say the same thing. I am british through and through, but i think Khan's time is limited. He won't clean out the 140lbs division. In fact i'd put big money on him fighting another puncher, and getting sparked again. He's just a busy fighter. He will get exposed before long. Mark my words. The annoying thing is, he will beat Salita and go on again like he's king of the world. He;s really starting to annoy me mentioning his name in the same sentences as Pacquiao, Mayweather, JMM etc. The boy is completely deluded.

Seems like a routine defence for Khan, which is why I imagine there hasn't been a lot of hype on ESB.

I expect Khan to win by mid-rounds stoppage.

I just dont like the way the british media hype him.

I have lots of freinds who only watch boxing when Khan/Hatton/Clazaghe/Froch fight, and they belive all the hot air that Jim Watt and the Gremlin spew during the fight.
Khan will win easily tommorow, and if he does I want him to make a move for unification.

I would love to see him fight Urango

Just did a massive boxing rec sesion and you are right, his record is very deceptive. The majority of Salitas fights have been with some people with shocking records. Khans is not great either, but his last 2 fights are against solid opponents.

I Didnt say in thread but i am actually going to this event! Glad you think it will go to points........ I want my moneys worth!

Salita's got nothing and is probably as chinny as Khan (watched his robbery of Montano in the Toney-Rahman undercard). So no worry on Khan winning this. The jr. welters need to be promoted more though so names like Holt and Bradley can get the exposure equal to Khan. If 140 is his division, then Amir will benefit with big names on there.

Salita it c-level at best that's why!!! I think Khan stops him in 6. Mitchell Vs Prescott seems like a more exciting fight IMO.

To the guy who said Bradley destroys Khan...I'm not sure. I don't particularly like Khan but at this moment I think you HAVE to KO him to beat him, he seems to be very complete barring his horrendous glass chin.

As someone else said, for this reason Torres, Holt and Ortiz are worse match-ups for me!!

Definitely! Probably looking forward to this one more than Khan or any of the other awesome fights that are going on this weekend. I live pretty close to Dagenham. We'll get to see what Mitchell is about now. His biggest test yet without a doubt.
