I'll be able to reply in full later when I get home, but three things caught my attention and almost made me literally lol. Firstly, that Khan carries "extreme power". Hahahaha wtf? Secondly, that Khan is an exciting fighter now he is with Roach. Again, what the hell? Last, Khan's "lightnig foot speed". He has fast hands indeed (pitter patter straight arm punches) but his feet are hardly blinding ..
Mictchell Prescot is Mitchell coming out party win and the name association will give him a big boost. Khan is gunna nail Salita - who is a lot slower of hand and foot and doesnt have a great defence. Kahns in and out style relying on his speed and keeping that guard high will see him through and he isnt totatally feather fisted so i see mid round KO for Kahn after a few early bumps along the road. Im not really sold on Bradley hes tough with good stamina but he has a crap left hand and he squares up when in close a fair bit. he got away with that against Holt but against someone a little bit more actvie he could struggle.
You're an idiot atsch He talks about how he wants to get to that level, how he is a long way off and he should work really hard to get there but he hopes one day to be at that level... why does that make him deluded? theres so many idiots like you, its so annoying, you don't read or listen properly so you just get all angry and start thinking bad about him when you assume he has said something he clearly didn't, jesus christ! And you think his time is limited? I don't even know what thats supposed to mean? People like you just hate him, so no matter what he does you are always going to complain and just wait for him to fail so you can say you were right all along... I don't know what Amir Khan is expected to do to get respect from some people... :think
When he disrespected Barrera with that cardboard cut-out bull**** Khan's ratings dropped big time from me.
Prescott is very dangerous early, but he's nowhere near as good as the Khan win made him look. I've only been living in the U.K for a short amount of time so don't know a great amount about Mitchell...but I've seen 4/5 of his fights and I think if he can stand up to Prescott's early punching power, he should be able to take a decision. He needs to be careful though as his defence can be quite porous and you can't afford to take many of Prescott's shots!! How ironic that a year after KOing Khan in one round, Prescott is fighting on his undercard!! $$$$$ talks.
It's not hate. All people want from him is one simple thing.. For him to knowingly fight someone who actually poses a risk and where he isn't overwhelming favourite due to the opponent skill/age/condition. It's just good timing/situation for Team Khan that Salita was the mandatory and that he can't punch and is very average
I'm an idiot? We will see. he will get sparked by the first A-level fighter he faces. Then we will see what he is all about. Amir Khan will never ever be regarded as highly as he thinks he will. He is compeltely deluded going on about his huge fanbase etc. I was at the last prizefighter, and when it was announced that Amir Khan was ringside, he got a worse reception that Audley Harrison! By his time is limited i mean that he will be exposed again soon. I expect you to come back with another insulting response. All anyone seems to want to do on this forum is argue and insult each other.
He fights who he gets put in front of him, he is only 22, he is still being taught and is still learning, too many people just don't understand the basics of what they are trying to do with him. Look at most boxers records they only ever start doing big big fights for the last 10 or so fights. He is doing what he is told and what is expected of him, jesus ****in christ, give the guy a break.
we are not disputing that. I was simply saying that he thinks he is something he is not already. Have you read all the interviews with him on sky sports boxing etc? He goes on like he's Pacquaio or something.
Absolute nonsense. He is WORLD CHAMPION, the days of fighting non risk opponents ended when he took that belt and the role that comes with it. If he isn't ready to fight the best in the division then he shouldn't have gone for a shot in the first place.
Yeah I know what you mean, but its just like, he talks about wanting to be at that level, he just aspires to that sort of boxer, I think people just misunderstand him and assume he is being too big headed. But I am sure once this defense is over with, assuming he wins it, there will be bigger fights for him so he can start really establishing himself. :thumbsup
If Khan wants exposure in the US then he could do worse than set up a bout in spring 2010 against the Ortiz. No Chin V No Heart.
Any truth that there may have been to this idea that Frank Warren is sheltering and protecting Khan ended before the Kotelnik fight. Team Khan are completely in control now that it's on a fight by fight basis. He has confirmed today that his next fight will 100% be in the US and although he has stated that he wants Warren to go with them, I very much doubt this will happen. If they continue down the road of fighting minimal risk opposition it's only Team Khan who are to blame.
