How would you assess this fight now? For me, for Thurman to fight Khan he would have to fight him different from his other fights he would have to fight like Maidana. Khan is the better boxer of the two, and Thurman wouldn't have a shot if he boxed him. Thurman does have a lot of power and Khan would have to weary of that. I expect a lot of holding from Khan. For me, its a toss up at this moment. Both will have to come in with good strategy. I expect Thurman to fight different, fight coming forward all night instead of on the back foot.
I think Thurman would beat Khan by tko. Khan is not a proven ww and he doest have the chin that Guerrero has so if Thurman land 1 big shots on Khan glass chin? Khan getting ko or tko. It would be a good fight cause khan can hit and can match Thurman speed but i just think thurman wins by tko.
Thurman could end up chasing shadows, Khan has lightening quick hands and can move his feet rather quickly if he needs to but it always goes back to Khan's chin, if Thurman catches him I just do not see Khan taking it very well.
Khan is quick and can move but khan gets hit alot trust me it wont be difficult for thurman. I dont think khan ever face a fighter with speed and pop fighter unless you count a decline zab judah lol.
I wouldn't say he gets hit a lot....... He gets hit enough in respect to the way he moves and how fast he is. But, for Thurman to win that fight, he can't fight the way he fought Guerrero.
And take him to the late rounds.. I think he got really tired tonight towards the end of the fight and when a fighter is tired they do not hit as hard.
