    Khan did nothing wrong, so he deserves the payday he had lined up. Hopefully Vasquez can make an entertaining affair out of it. This is much better than nothing.

    Vazquez is a very good fighter at LW. Vazquez is a good enough fighter that it is surprising for him to take a fight on very short notice like this. You seldom if ever see fighters of his caliber do that.

    It's low risk for both sides. Even if Vazquez loses, it would be appropriate with his other losses being twice to Alvarez and once to Bradley at weights above his own. This would be too, and would be on 11 days notice.

    edit: You know Corley would be willing if he could get licensed in that short time period from his McCloskey W haha.
