I think its more likely for a big all british clash between khan and witter rather that khan and hatton later this year, because witter is going for the WBC title in a couple of months, so if they both win it would be a natural fight. Maybe if khan hasnt been KTFO by then the hatton fight could be in 2010.
Who on earth picked Khan by stoppage? Witter is very awkward, experienced and has very decent power so I would expect him to KO Khan brutally in 5 rounds.
gotta be witter, khan isnt even proven at domestic level at LW so how could he beat an awkward heavy handed pretty decent fighter-ex champ at JW?
id probly side with jhon murray beating khan for the british lightweight, so i couldnt see him beating witter in a unification world light welter if they both win
Normally when these sorts of things are brought up, People normally just say "Khan gets KO'd he's got no chin" that said this may be one of those instances where it's accurate. Witter can fluster an opponent who can't follow his style and Khan hasn't faced anyone like this. Witter has the power to hurt and seriously dent Khan so it's certainly possible a KO comes there. At the same time, Junior Witter is clearly on the slide, aging and can't deal with speed very well. Khan is faster, younger and I'd venture to guess that anymore mental midget moments are out of the question with Joke Coach Roach in his corner. I'd venture to say Witter by TKO early but it could be Khan's fight as well.
