Khan walks around 165, Khan at 135 was badly weight drained, Khan ideal weight 154

His chin hasn't gotten any better from 135 lbs, dehydrated or not.

I would love to see him fight the good Charlo brother at 154 lbs. I think he'd knock him out inside 6 rounds. I'd also favor Kirkland to knock him out in glorious fashion. I think Lara would school him for the entire 12 and I also believe he has more than enough pop to hurt Khan and stop him in the later rounds.

Props to Khan for moving up in weight, but many fighters have done it throughout their careers. Usually they do it after dominating in the lower divisions, which Khan really has never done outside of MAYBE 140 lbs. Also, most fighters who go up in weight don't bring fragile mandibles to the new division. It's a recipe for disaster.

If he's able to outbox and beat Canelo, he better drop that title and run back down to 147 so he can continue avoiding guys with power at the division and try to feast on feather fisted 140 lbers. I'd favor Thurman and Porter to both knock him out, and Manny would probably have him rendered unconscious by the 5th round or so.

I actually like his boxing style, he's entertaining to watch but he's a very flawed fighter and for some reason has deluded himself into thinking he's much better than he actually has shown up to this point in his career.

 

I doubt Khan walked around at 165 in his lightweight days.

I left and graduated before darni had worked out what was staring him in the face

 

It doesn't really matter, even if Khan's punch resistance gets somewhat better, it'll still be on the weak side.

He'll still be at a disadvantage in size, chin, skills, power, defense, ring smarts, etc...

But then again Khan is fast and that's all that matters

 

Khan's ideal weight might be 154 but his chin was constructed for 126.

 

Khan's too small for 154, he's not even big for 147 ffs.

And if Khan was weight drained for Prescott then Prescott was a dead body cause Prescott is a bigger man than Khan!

And also why would anybody even believe Khan walks around at 165? The guy claimed/lied that he was 5 foot 10 so i'm not gonna believe any made up weight.

And if you get pushed back in a fight by Algeri then your're weak at the weight regardless of what you weigh.

He isn't a big guy end of story.
