Amir Khan has said he is keen to face WBC champ Danny Garcia. Am pretty sure Ajose is Garcia's mandatory and is supposed to be facing him in June/July.

Surely the ESB cult hero cannot be kept waiting again.

He has been mandatory since 1996.

  2. Khan will get the shot first.

He brings more money to Sillyman & Co.

If he'd been a bit more active then he wouldn't find himself in this position

Agree 100% and he'd be better prepared for what is going to be a steep learning curve when he eventually steps it up.

What happened to his manager who used to post on here....he made some oputlandish claims but we got a decent insight into Ajoses camp.

I understand what your saying, but when have the WBC cared about activity?

They are motivated by money, nothing else.

Absolutely, and by not getting himself out there Ajose has significantly limited his marketability. When he wants to be he's a decent entertainer.

To be fair Ajose earned his mandatory shot with a great display against Ali Chebah and was pushed aside when Garcia instead took on Morales.

Why risk that potential world title shot with a stay busy fight. The bloke is undefeated he fully deserves his shot.

Olu Rotimi used to post on here, but think some clowns chased him off.

I get what you are saying, but he has fought 30 opponents. Probably more deserving than other title challengers.

He would easily handle the likes of McCloskey...but that's for another day.

    McCloskey isn't all that either.

Ajose's level of opposition has been poor as well, barely enough to justify a top 20 ranking IMO. I like him, and Olu but he's hardly smashing down doors and deserving to be recognised as one of the top 'challengers' for a completely paper title.

Would Olusegun bother Khan or Bradley? Not at all.

I like Ajose, and I do feel it's time he got his shot, but at the same time, no point whining. If they won't open the door, knock it down. Make fights, keep the pressure on. If he gets beaten in a stay busy fight then he doesn't deserve a world title yet.

I hope Ajose gets his shot and takes it with both hands, but if he doesn't, he needs to stay relevant.

If Khan gets his 2 belts back then the unification bout with Garcia automatically will push Ajose to the side. As it is, I doubt the WBC give him his shot over a Khan-Garcia fight.

Here is an idea: Ajose v Corley?
