Trash talking is one thing, comments about flying carpets, Khan's DNA, and "never met a ****stanian that could fight" are below the belt. What if Khan had said he's gonna send Garcia back to Puerto Rico on a bannana boat? The window lickers on here would have gone into meltdown and created 30 threads about it saying what a **** Khan is. You can wind people up by making an issue of someones race/ethnicity but so could insulting a fighters family. So is that fair game also? It's free speech at the end of the day, but certain things are off limits for people with some class.

true, but as others have mentioned khan has his own problems in his own mind.

also, garcias dad was clever, he brought race into it because he knew it would work. that and the no chin comments. worked a treat on khan who basically followed the garcia gameplan. he comes out fast gunning for a KO (which he promised) and walks onto a massive shot.

bh and mayweather have played on racial issues before too. bhop threw the PR flag in PR and that also worked to his advantage in the tito fight just after 9/11.

angel garcia just mixed a bit of truth with falsehood, and it really got under khans skin. perfect pre fight gameplan. Ali did the same kind of **** to sonny liston but it backfired against frazier.

khan just needs to be stronger mentally, which will be hard. and also needs to tone down the **** he talks about others if he is demanding respect himself.

Regarding te OP, I've not seen the link, but I assume he's talking about the manner in which Garcia's dad went about teasing him. In which case, he has a point (even thought he's probably putting it across in a **** way). The mocking of his style, chin, etc, is fine. But the ignorant racist stuff, was not needed.
