Bit rich coming from you Darni, you frequently accuse people of disliking Amir because of his race, which truth be told is a rather racist thing to do.

if carl froch said what khan said this thread would be full of devotion and **** sucking by most members on the brit forum, because its khan lets just take the **** and **** on him some more.

Are you seriously suggesting that there's no reason to hate Khan apart from his race?

Let me tell you why most of us on here don't like Khan. It's because he's an arrogant, deluded, overrated, disrepectful crybaby. I wouldn't care if he was purple.

Froch says dumb **** from time to time, what fighter doesn't? Khan though really takes the biscuit, every week it's something idiotic from him. Fighters can be as arrogant as they like if they back it up in the ring, a prime example is Floyd Mayweather. Khan can't back it up yet continues to chat shite anyway. That's why we hate him.

Trash talk usually happens between fighters to try and gain some sort of mental leverage Khan does this all the time can't start crying because someone bettered him at it.

what disrespectful comments has he said in the last 12 months?
i think khans overrated as well and i'm by no means a fan (i picked him to lose against peterson and garcia, and think tim bradley among others would make him look like a nobody), but all this bull**** of him being some arrogant, disrespectful guy is nonsense.

Do you want a list? I'd be typing all night if I listed all Khan's examples of arrogance but I'll keep it to just a few.

"I'm a superstar in boxing. Kell Brook is a nobody, I'm more famous in America than he is in England." - interview with Sky Sports.

"Kell Brook takes cocaine and was stabbed in a nightclub." - remarks on Twitter.

"Froch is jealous of me because than I'm famous and he's not." - BBC interview

"Danny Garcia only won because he got lucky." - says this every chance he gets.

"I'm more famous in Washington than Lamont Peterson is." - before their fight.

"Freddie is getting older and worse. He was struggling with instructions and can't move as well." - talking about Roach's Parkinsons

"Freddie's not a very good defensive trainer." - blaming Freddie because HE got himself KO'ed.

    Want some more examples?

    True

    Unverified but rumoured....silly comment regardless

Childish....the sort of level that Froch operates at

Every fighter says this....what do you expect him to say...he beat me and I'll have no chance in a rematch.....Its actually more a criticism of himself than it is of Garcia.

    It might be true

True, in what way is this disrespectful?

You would have to admit that this is pretty much true.....Considering that not long ago people were talking as though he was the greatest living trainer he hasn't produced many Sweet P's or Willie Peps

I just don't see what is arrogant about what the bloke has said in the snips that you have highlighted (some a bit out of context), certainly no more arrogant than what any other boxer out there says at least. The worst that the comments could be considered are childish

its funny how you quote that whilst in the same interview he took full responsibility for the garcia defeat and said roach is still one of the best trainers, he just needed someone who could work on his defense. the kell brook comments were flying back and forth between the 2 of them, kell brook was the first to call him out and said he would stop him should they fight, kell brook isn't even an established champion and he was calling out someone else a weight class beneath him. Froch hinted at khan that he should retire after the garcia loss, which prompted khans reply. as for peterson comment i agree it was an arrogant thing to say.

He's wrong about being so much more famous than Kell because Brook is Sky Sports' most watched fighter (his fight with Jones set a record I think). He's bigger in America of course but in England they're about the same now. If Kell beats Alexander and wins the title then he'll be even bigger than Khan.

Saying what he said about Brook's personal life is disgusting. He has no right to publicly accuse Kell of anything like that without any proof.

Freddie Roach said himself he found Amir's words about him very disrespectful. Said he was so hurt by them that he didn't care if Khan lost to Molina. Robert Guerrero even said he was scumbag for making such comments about such a respected guy like Roach.

Freddie probably isn't a very good defensive trainer but still, it's not Khan's place to say so. Roach brought him back from the brink. Guided him to his first and second world titles. He should be thankful Roach invested so much time in him instead of making snidy little comments like that which make it sound like he's blaming him for what happened.

He disrespected Froch by trying make out that nobody cares about him or his career (what he meant when he said he wasn't famous). If anything, he's jealous of the respect Carl gets from hardcore fans who know their stuff.

Anyone who thinks Garcia got lucky doesn't have a clue. That's just an excuse Khanites like to use. He was timing Khan's punches and beginning to counter well in the 3rd round. Paulie Malignaggi even said so commentating for 5 live.

Ask the man on the street and very few people will know who he is....rightly or wrongly they'll generally know who Khan is.

Its only disgusting if it isn't true....I don't know about the stabbing thing but the coke use has been rumoured around Sheffield for yonks. Its only the same as people on this forum whacking on about Mitchell and Murray and there supposed substance abuse.

It might be hurtful but its true....Telling the truth can't in anyway be classed as arrogant, ill advised maybe.

Roach worked for Khan, not the other way round so he has every right to say it. Again, if its true its not arrogant, its, well, the truth.

Like I said, childish comment, but its exactly the same sort of thing that Froch would say.

You actually took the Garcia comment out of context....by saying Garcia was lucky he was actually criticising himself for letting it happen. Its the least arrogant comment of the whole lot.
