http://espn.go.com/sports/boxing/no...l-weekend-notebook/david-haye-punch-back-talk A decent Haye interview on that page as well :good
Warren is hilarious though... always claims the fighter is still contracted to him, when they patently aren't It's not rocket science either, it will be in writing, how many fights the deal covered He'll claim a 'verbal agreement', get injunctions etc and eventually lose
Why not have a co-promotional arrangement? Lewis was fully promoted in the UK by Frank Maloney, who got a slice of his fights in America, who were usually promoted by Main Events..... unless he appeared on a DKP show.
Khan is starting to wake up and handle matters himself, its all about getting the best deals in terms of money and calling his own shots. Khan wants to fight Maidana, Roach will HAVE TO train him(with the Sun reporting Roach wants Khan to vacate), and Warren WILL HAVE TO promote it.
This is the power of the influence Naz has on Khan. First he tells him which combo to use to KO Salita and now he tells Khan ditch Warren like I did and make mega money. Good luck to him if he ditches Warren.
Also I heard when he comes down to London him and Haye chill out go out together. Haye's his own boss maybe he also told him **** Warren, start your own **** like me.
That's a good point. Big enough name to do things differently now and without the aid of FW. Also Frank didn't look to keen on going over to the States after the Salita fight.
Its a two way street Warren also made **** loads of money off Khan, Warren inside dont give a **** about his fighters, all he see's em as is a investment and how to best manage and protect it.
