Khan's time and body has outgrown 140, since turning pro 8 years ago Khan who is 5'10 has only moved up 5lbs in weight.

His last fight vs Diaz confirmed this, no way Khan safe at 140 anymore.

147 is a higher weight division with bigger punchers, but the same thing was said when Khan moved from 135 where Gomez, Limond(light 135 punchers) dropped Khan yet at 140 Maidana, PEDerson, Zab, could not even drop Khan.

Guys must take note also Garcia before the KO in the 3rd round was landing full on left and right hooks with no effect better yet didnt even make Khan think, worry, back off, hurt, with his power. It was just a well timed shot on Khan's neck not chin.

If 147 suits Khan he still can shock alot of boxing fans, style wise a good at the weight Khan can still trouble any fighter due to his mad handspeed and high work rate and moving style.

The reason why it was 143 because he cant make 140 no more without killing himself making weight.

He needs to full 147 limit and on fight night needs to come in the ring around 155lbs.

Diaz has been campaigning at WW. Why didn't Khan take the fight at the full WW limit?

Whenever Khan gets sparked hard, his main excuse is the weight. By the way Tardi187, he fought Diaz at a welterweight catchweight of 143 and nearly got killed.

Good question, I think they still had one eye on a Garcia rematch at 140, but now not the case plus Khan had been wanting to move upto 147 for a while now, it was ment to be after Peterson, but that robbery meant Khan was forced to stay at 140 and then one thing lead to another..

I have to give it to British boxing fans....you guys support your fighters no matter what. I don't care what weight Khan fights at...the guy cannot take a punch and he will never be an elite, P4P talent. That window has passed. It doesn't matter how many times he changes trainers, or moves up in weight. He is a good, not great fighter...he has great speed but his chin has and will always be his Achilles heel as long as he is fighting. End of story.

Oh I'll be around alright, not sure what alternative account you will be by then nor will I care. Care to elaborate why he still nearly got killed at the welterweight catchweight(which he requested) of 143 against Diaz?, was he heavily drained(as your nonexistent brain obviously is) at 143 too?

@huitzi, listening to these obsessive khan fans try to explain to make every excuse that khan still has it is too damn funny. And Pathetic.
