The punchers at 147 all lay khan out cold. 4lbs in weight aint going to help him stand up when the likes of keith thurman are stood opposite. Alexander will be one of the few fighters to actually win rounds against khan before he lays him out cold.

    Khan is a Euro-Bum.

He will never be an ellite fighter. His glass jaw would get shattered again at 147.

Khan's biggest problem isn't the weight. It's the way he fights. He doesn't have the chin for wars but lets himself get dragged in. He needs to use his speed differently. Fight more defensively , pick his shots and move out. And he needs to learn that you sometimes lose and learn from it instead of making excuses. That's how you grow as a fighter. Fight to your strengths , accept your flaws and adapt your style around them

Exactly its never clever to get into wars with big punchers when your chin is suspect.

More then anything its Khan's IQ thats the problem and his inabilty to follow his trainers instructions

Khan will be fighting bigger men with more power at 147.

Slapping on extra weight won't make his opponents punch any lighter.

Khan was getting put to sleep at 135...147 is not the answer.

Interesting that even though Khan drains himself so much to make weight, he is still regularly outweighed by his opponents come fight night...

    Khan
    135 - hurt dropped and ko'd
    140 - hurt dropped and ko'd
    143 - hurt and dropped.
    147 - see the pattern..........:deal

Youre ******ed but i hope he does move up. The higher he goes, the more times his chin will break and i get to watch him look like a fawn trying to stand for the first time.

Khan's Glass Jaw is just going to get Shattered in more brutal and embarrassing fashion at the higher weight. His career will be over shortly.

I was a Huge Khan fan, and still love to watch his fights even though his personality now grates on me a little, but honestly his chin wont improve by moving up in weight.

If he had a decent Chin he would be as troublesome as the old Pac man, if not more troublesome with his height, however his chin will always let him down.

Moving up to 147 is only going to mean he gets hit harder.

    FACT

I don't see how a 7lb weight difference will give him a world class chin, which you need to be a top level world class fighter

You can't train a Chin. Khan is a Glass Jawed fighter and nothing will change that. Ever. They tried putting him in there with feather fisted opponents and he still kept getting knocked down.
