Pac who never even really broke sweat destroyed him for Pac who was past his best to find it that easy says a lot. khan is in his prime he is going to whoop him even worse maybe even stop him.
This kid went down 6 times by pac who couldn't even get a knock out for years which says a lot on how bad chris is.
They've done a terrific job at revitalizing Khan's career after he lost to Garcia. They've been very smart to put him in with feather-fisted opponents that aren't capable of knocking him out. It's smart on his management's part, they've been putting guys in to essentially make Khan look really good in the ring. Although, I will say it almost backfired on them a few fights ago when he fought Julio Diaz in a very unimpressive victory for Amir. There's a reason he's taking on CHris Algieri and not someone like Keith Thurman. If he wants a shot at pacman or Mayweather, he should do it the right way and actually fight, and beat, the top contenders at WW. He shouldn't be fighting all these 140 lb guys and assume wins against them make him some kind of WW megastar. He's so deluded, it's sometimes hard to take him seriously. Let's see him rematch Garcia or take on a solid 140 lb guy who can actually pose a threat to him like Lucas Matthyse. I'd be more impressed with him if he took on a Garcia, Lucas, Thurman, Brook or Porter. Wins against those caliber of fighters would make his dream of getting a Mayweather fight more realistic
I think Algieri has made a big mistake staying at 147 He isn't a very experienced boxer, though he did fight a PPV main event with Pacquiao and Ruslan on a major run but he isn't deeply experienced and he isn't a strong or hard hitting fighter Sure the money is at 147 but at 140 he has the winnable fights, he won a belt there. For me it is hard to decipher whether or not the Provodnikov fight was a one and done performance or if he has more to offer. At this rate I don't know if he would win that rematch Vs Khan I just don't see what he does that Khan cant handle. Khan has beaten good boxers and good movers. Algieri isn't out boxing Khan. Khan is susceptible to hard hitting fighters who come forward and throw left hooks a punch that cant seem to miss Khan. Algieri doesn't have that punch I think this is the Malinaggi fight all over again
This fight says more about Pac than it does Khan & Algieri lol. If Khan beats him up and stops him then we can defintly draw a few conclusions about where Pac is in his career.
