    Khan needs to get serious.

He should get a sleeping bag and sleep on the floor of Virgil's bedroom.

I agree... I would go as far as saying he could take a fight with Peterson next.. but I feel 2 more fights before a Garcia, Rios or Matthse fight is necessary.. one of those 2 I would match up a rematch with Peterson in Las Vegas.

Come on, he managed to escape after being nailed by a monster-puncher in Willie Limond a few years ago. That shot would have knocked anyone down. :hey

**** off yourself, Molina would have knocked him out if he could punch, Khan looked terrible.

Keep him the **** away from Luscious Lucas.

Con will be doing La Macarena with the first flush shot he takes.

He throws too many 4-5 punch combos.....he has got to learn to start setting up his shots and offense better....to keep from leaving himself open for counters.

In this fight it looks like he was to throw his shots then get out...but with a good fighter they will time that and if they have decent power he will be in trouble all over again.

The biggest problem for Khan is and probably always will be that he can be caught whilst throwing combinations (his chin is up in the air virtually every time). Surprisingly easy in fact (which also shows his limited power). I was impressed by Hunter mixing Khan's speed and power up on the pads, but I didn't really see too much of that in this bout (admittedly I missed a few rounds). When Khan steps in with someone decent again, they will punch with Khan, they will catch Khan, and this is also the reason why Khan will be in with competitive bouts, or even get stopped again.

He is a sucker for that left hook. Hope Hunter irons out some of these habits because all of his opponents will target pressure and left hooks in their gameplan.

Thought he looked like he'd gone backwards personnally, thought he was pretty awful, even easier to hit than ever, shipped far too many punches and if he's got bad hands his already average power's gonna diminish.
Calzaghe had the chin and nouse to let his bad hands not be too much of a problem, Khan hasnt.

He has average power because of the bad hands. He's been suffering from them for a while. I first heard rumours of them since the Kotelnik/Salita days. Roach said something about his wrists, too.

As for Saturday's performance, I think it's a bit harsh to say he's gone backwards. He looked as good as he's ever been (thanks to the opponent, of course). But because of his weak chin and susceptibility to being hurt, we, the observors, tend to magnify his flaws way too much (I'm guilty of doing this). His defense is better than a lot of the guys out there, but because they're not one punch away from having their jaw shattered, none of us bat an eyelid when their chin is exposed or when they get caught in the midst of combinations.

Saturday night was ok. Still a lot of questions to be answered and he's by no means improved enough to get the better of Garcia, PEDerson, Matthysse, etc, but they're making small steps in the right direction. They've only had one camp together and it's silly to expect anything more from him in just 9 weeks.

This is very true, I have been told. I could name some more aswell who have kept it well hidden (but I won't).

I used to think the same also regarding the bolded. Not that I thought he would ever beat mayweather if they ever fought, but I thought his length, workrate, speed, etc... would cause problems for Mayweather. However after the Peterson fight (regardless of decision), I realized he is not on Money May's league.

In regarss to the fight Saturday, he was matched against a smaller man with no power at all. He was supposed to win this fight. But instead of being humble at the end, he says "he would knock Garcia out" ... "if he lets his shands go, he's the best fighter in the world" ... "I am a much better fighter now becuase of Virgil" yada yada.

He still pushes off too much, panics when fighting on the inside (its just that Molina didn' pressure him enough so he appeared calm), still very open for the left hook and most importantly, thinks he is back on top after this win. Maybe he will prove us wrong, but I dont see him beating the top 140/147 lb fighters.

Khan needs to fight a Savage Puncher. He is the most Coddled fighter in the sport today. He has no Chin and no Power. None.

His lack of power is his biggest problem because he has no way to keep his opponents honest. They are not scared about what is coming back to them because Khan is feather fisted.:rofl
