I know you love Khan Laz and i'll be honest with you. Khan is a good solid fighter and a good former champion but he is not elite. The one thing i like about khan is his heart and courage, unfortunately it was also his downfall because instead of fighting smart when hurt, he still trades w/o moving his head. Like I said good solid fighter and a decent former champion but not Elite. I don't think you can refute that Laz.
Khan has speed,heart,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and thats it,no lateral movement,no ring generalship,no chin,no defense,he is all flash with 0 substance...
I know that, and I never disputed that. I was just saying in reponse to Prince's post, in which he said to ignore him and whatever for reasons I do not know of just sounded silly and childish.
If that's the case, he should go straight to Taliban manufacturers i.e. White House. Perhaps that's why he met Hillary Clinton.
Actually that would work. Khan's punches are too straight and predicable it's the same 1-2 everytime and his upper body movement is non existant it's like Roach tied a plank to his back!!!
People are just slagging him right left and centre lol. So it's better not to talk about him until he actually does something credible. I see a lot of racist/sadist remarks from people; may be they think this is the right time to vent their real feelings out when Khan and his fans are most 'vulnerable'? I'm just frustrated at a talent go to waste. vs Danny 6 toes Garcia he had all the belts on the line and could have become top dog at 140. He blew it by acting macho and letting Pop's Garcia dictate what gameplan to use. I can overlook the things he say's out-of-the-ring but am not impressed by his recent performances. I was happy with the win over Marcos and a faded Judah but then things went down hill after that. I don't hate Khan (hate is a strong word) I'm just dissapointed. Aren't you?
Khan needs a new Chin not a new Trainer. His problem isn't Defense or any other ridiculous excuse. His problem is he has an awful Glass Jaw and an amateur style of fighting.
May be too late to do anything about his style now. He would always get backed onto the ropes or stand with a high guard and head down while letting his opponent bang away. He doesn't seem to have much power to deter fighters either. Watched the Kotelnik and Peterson fights again and he was just throwing mostly pitter patt shots. I use to like Khan and still do, cos he has heart, but I'm afraid that GOOD MATCH-MAKING is his best asset right now.
Means I've tried plenty of people, not too many are interested because my attitude stinks and the people around me are infuriating knobs that know **** all about boxing.
