He is elite. He has beaten Devon Alexander who in my opinion is also elite. Elite is not just the best guy in the division its the top dogs in the division and Khan is certainly a top dog in the WW div.

Out of a dozen options(including his homie Brook who called him out) hes fighting Algieri. Even Khan fans harshly criticize him for that. He is a ducker alright.

It may look like ducking but he obviously dosent want to risk the mayweather bout. Im sure the brook fight will happen in the future and Khan know he will have to fight him sooner or later. Its like when Bradley supposedly ducked khan but then went on to fight pacman you cant really call it a duck. Although if he dosent get the mayweather fight in September and then he still dosent fight him then its a clear duck.

Please read the wise words of this wisest of posters. King Khan is elite and will rule the 147 division for as long as he chooses.

If he fought Floyd instead of Brook, noone would say hes ducking Brook, as noone did with Bradley vs Pac. And if he did fight and beat Brook, everyone would support him to be the next Floyd opponent, right now, most people dont. I consider it ducking, but its not the topic here, so ill leave it at that.

My friend what these damned infidels do not understand is that King Khan will fight Mr Mayweather when he beats Mr Algieri. That is how the fight will be sold on the basis of King Khan beating the great Mr Algieri via stoppage something Mr Mayweathers last opponent. Mr Pacquiao could not do. Ezekiel will do as all Hearn champions do fight lowly ranked contenders that pose no threat. And when King Khan beats Mr Mayweather and hypejob Thurman then the King Khan-Ezekiel Reid fight will still be there only it will be much bigger.

My friend I must correct the very big mistake you make. All of King Khans devoted followers all support the Algieri fight because a dominant win for King Khan is a great way to sell a King Khan - Mayweather fight. After all Mr Pacquiao secured such a prize when he beat the great undefeated JWW champion Mr Algieri so it figures a good King Khan win over this great fighter who was undefeated when he was JWW champion will earn King Khan the Mr Mayweather fight.

Khan is the #4 ranked welterweight. How is that not "elite"? Anyone who is in the top 5 of a division is elite.

He's been starched by a jab. Khan will never be elite because inevitably that glass jaw will fail him.

Khan is just good enough to scratch the top 10 at 140 or 147, and just bad enough to get knocked back by a ridiculous KO every time he builds a nice winning streak against perfectly matched opponents.

Great speed, but tremendously flawed in terms of defense, chin, and intelligence. Bad combination.
