I know the forum is full of "khan has a glass jaw and will get KO'd in 60 seconds" posters..... However I genuinely think Khan will see the final bell. I think he knows he can't get caught and he has to fight the perfect fight for 36 mins in order to stand a good chance. Not only is the weight advantage in canelos favour, but even if the fight does go 12 I just can't see how he would win a decision in Vegas against Goldenboys.... Well, golden boy. We saw a horrible scoring from the judges last night, and it wouldn't surprise me if Khan was the victim of this next week also. Sure, there's every chance of Khan getting caught hard and hitting the deck, but I think he'll be putting on a much better performance than most people are anticipating. I just hope, those same people giving him s**t before the fight for having a glass jaw, will come out and applaud him if he was to last the distance win or lose. Great fight to look forward to though either way
If Amir's gameplay is to run, hold, and jab, then yes he can see the final bell. But he's getting dropped in this contest. He didn't handle Chris Algieri's power well at all.. If you are are getting tagged and staggered by chris algieri then you are going on the canvas vs Canelo.
If Canelo doesn't drop Khan he should retire, I'd be ashamed to show my face in public if I were him.
I like / am grateful to Amir for what he's done for UK boxing, but if he sees the final bell, I reckon the GB Olympic Team should persuade him to retire and go to Rio as a 10,000m runner - he'd win gold running backwards with his hands in front of his face.
Ok i give him a benefit of the doubt. Khan is using the I was drained excuse. But if he does the bambi legs again there will be no more excuses he just can't take a punch.Caramello is an ok puncher! but he hurts Khan then Amir delusional ass needs to wake up to his self and accept the reality of his chin at any weight he can get dropped.
Khan used to say he was drained at 130...135...140....and 147. Odds are pretty good that he just has a really bad chin and zero defense.
Unless he pulls a Dirrell vs. Stevens, because we saw what happens when Canelo faces a lot of movement (with Mayweather and Lara). His ring cutting skills with an opponent unwilling to engage are no bueno.
