Dont get me wrong, it would be a quick short fight with high intensity and i wouldnt be surprised if we saw khan go shakey at points and maybe even going down, but khans speed and accuracy would destroy murray, the guys got no defense!

All khan has to do is use his footwook and move to the left/right constantly and throw uppercuts and have a high guard and it will be easy

Yeah I agree Khan would give him too many punches, Murray would eventually stop being the bull. Murray should fight Thaxton but I can't see Thaxton winning.

But I like the aggressive type of fighting John has, however if you watch the Lawton fight he does miss a hell of a lot even though they look like they are landing, but he tries putting everything behind his shots.

i remember the likes of TFFP saying that murray would beat Khan,

Do these people still agree with that statement?

    Hello Mr Khan.

Murray would ko him if he's on good form.

If anything I'd expect to see murray shakey at points and maybe even kd. However Murray would weather the storm and KO Amir.

Khans flurries would cause him problems early (maybe a flash kd even) Unless there's a crap ref who can't tell the difference between clean punches and punches landed on gloves, Murray will let Amir get excited and then get down to the serious business.

Murray has no defence? You fail to understand some of the subtle aspect of defence. Murray as a high rate pressure will inevitable get hit. But to suggest he has no defence is laughable. As are comparasion with Hatton, when do see John constantly holding and hitting?

Murray would stop Khan, after being beaten to the punch for the first 6 rounds. He'd win in around 9.

    Similar to Margarito/Cotto or Chavez/Taylor.

Gomez pressured Khan and he buckled under the pressure.........that was an old Gomez. Murray could win if he can sustain his pressure tactics cos he has some decent power.

True, but khan was a lot worse then than he is now and had dean powell (whos a cutman/match maker) in his corner, not even a trainer! That and khan unleashes some nasty combos on gomez, think what a new improved khan would do to murray

It would be like khan gomez first round

Powell is a decent trainer. He has worked with the likes of Honeyghan and Benn.

And no need to blame the trainer for the Gomez performance. Gomez was a hand picked opponent for the last fight of the ITV deal. Ricky Burns dealt with Gomez much more effectively at Gomez's optimum weight of 130lbs.

Khan can have the best trainers , the best sparring partners, the best promoters. But he is and always will be chinny.
