kell would struggle early on I think. khan's got amazing speed and it would take time for kell to adjust.

kell would cut the ring though and he is more then good enough to time amir. for me Kell wins the fight, he will hurt khan and has the power to stop him.

does anyone believe the fight will actually happen though?

I dont think amir will get the floyd fight in may so what will he do? will he ignore the brook fight and instead just not fight and wait for the winner of floyd vs pacquiao?

the brook fight is the biggest fight for khan outside of floyd and manny. how can he walk away from that fight if the above two is not an option?

I dont think khan gets floyd so brook makes sense and he could pick up a world title and then maybe floyd or manny

Everyone saying this is the fight the everyone wants to see should speak for themselves. I'd get more excited over rematch with Garcia or Thurman than Khan taking out Brook.

If there is no other realistic option then I guess it makes good sense for Khan.

with a world title on the line it's a much better option than either you mention.

Stiff Straight back Kell is a kind of sitting duck for Khan to open up and counter when Kell tries to reach in and miss, I even see Khan stopping him late on.

Khan's straight 1,2 will snap Kell head back all night, Kell would be just too slow for Khan and Khan too fast for him.

Khan wont walk into Kell to which will at times force Kell to walk into more shots bit like last night vs Alexander.

Khan can now fight off his back foot or front..

Brook v Khan would be big in England and could sell out Wembley, similarly to Froch v Groves. The needle is certainly there to trigger interest and the money would be a good incentive for both.

Sorry I don't see Khan KO'ing Kell at all. He hit Devon so much but not one shot remotely shook him. Also Khan would be even more cautious with Kell as he has the power to KO Khan. It depends on how Kell adjusts to Khan's speed or if Khan makes some silly mistakes and gets excited fighting at home. If Khan fought a similar fight like today, then he could UD Kell. Kell for me is a little too slow for Khan but a counter KO could be on the cards if Khan gets sloppy.

Alexander chin is made of stone lol

Trust me some of them shots stopped Alexander walking into Khan otherwise he'd had more of a go at Khan in the 2nd half of the fight.

Khan would also be the bigger guy in the ring vs Kell, Khan looks big at welterweight.. and i know Kell's chin is not iron.

Ofcourse Kell has a punchers chance i give him that.

I still think Khan needs a couple more fights at WW . The Devon fight was the first time i've seen him box composed. I'd like to see him do this against a dangerous puncher. This will gauge whether his defense and chin will hold up. IF they do then he's the real deal. At the moment he is making the right progress but lacks the experience with his tweaked style.

Where did you hear about Kell's bench? I'm sure most top wws can bench 70 kg comfortably.

I agree, lifting 70kgs for a normal joe isn't difficult, especially for a professional athlete. Now 140kg is very good but I'm not sure this would necessarily benefit him. The last thing you want is to slow down, lose stamina and be stiff lifting heavy weights. For a guy that weighs around the WW mark, 140kg is far too heavy.
