The same thing will happen in a rematch, which is why it will never happen unless Khan gets his big payday and fully opens up after it. The getting schooled nonsense is exaggerated too, even though Khan was doing better Garcia was still countering and landing his shots especially in the 2nd round. Khan remains wide open for the counter and continues to predictably hop in with one twos wide open for a counter. His newly celebrated ability to hold on when hurt isn't going to change the fact that Garcia will pummel him on the inside, break him off and leave him jumping about aimlessly till the referee decides he's seen enough.
Khan has the ability to outbox almost anyone for an UD. Few dispute he has the skills. He was giving Garcia a boxing lesson in the early part of their fight. The problem is his ring IQ and poor decision-making. Rather than playing his strengths he sometimes chooses to trade or step in with flurries against reknowned bangers. Fine if you have a decent beard and can take a shot. Not so great if you have a questionable chin. I doubt he could stop Garcia, as Garcia can take a shot. He can outpoint him though.
i'm confused by the claim garcia hasn't looked good recently, obviously he should have lost by a round or 2 to herrera, who is a good fighter, but he did what he was supposed to vs salka. So he was made to look average in one fight, hardly a sign of regression.
Everytime Pacquiao or Khan get beat/stopped, its always the emotional fans , who say the fighters that ACTUALLY beat/stopped them, are ducking them regarding a rematch:roll: Face it: Khan is a good athlete with good physical characteristics (long, rangy, fast, etc...) but his ring IQ is below average and his chin is glass in the softest form. I too thought he was the futre P4P king, but after his fight with Peterson, which I saw live in attendance, I knew right then that his lack of inside fight game, coupled with the aforementioned weaknesses, would prevent him from being great. He is looking to fight Floyd for a cash out. His wars with Maidana, Peterson, Garcia & Diaz have shortened his career/potential significantly. If he loses to Alexander, which I think he will, hes done at the elite level. No disrespect as he is a warrior in the ring, but he s just not as good as advertised.
Well recently would then mean his last 2 fights prior to Salka. He easily beat "The Machine", though Lucas had his momemnts. Herrera is one of those fighters that its hard to look good against. Factor in his emotional visit to Puerto Rico, I think its safe to say that he has looked good recently. Herrea never hurt him, but he hurt Herrera. I think Herrera should have been given a draw, but hes a decent fighter, no shame in that performance.
In a rematch , Khan would get the best of Danny fighting smart this time around . He know Danny going to be looking to time him with that Hook again . He knows what to expect this time around . @147 Can you imagine how even slower Swift will be ? Khan 8-4 . There wont be no trilogy because the rematch will be too one sided .
Please tell me which round Garcia hurt Herrera ? Ima go watch it right away . Herrera won 116-112 imo and about 90% of people felt Garcia clearly lost .
And who has kahn given a rematch to after he beat them? Did he give Diaz a rematch even though it was close and Diaz knocked him down? Did Con give Maidana a rematch? You kahn****tards are pissing me right off with your ballsucking threads every day, saying every fighter better than that jihadist is ducking him
Herrera schooled Garcia, even theophane was unlucky not to get a draw. Garcia can be outboxed very easily, a defensive, smarter Khan could easily win 12-0. I doubt Garcia takes the fight because Angel Garcia knows his son was getting battered for the first two rounds and he wouldn't dare to put his son back in again with Khan. As the Knockout only occured due to Khan standing in the pocket throwing an uppercut leaving his right side totally exposed for the left hook. Watching back the KO garcia had his eyes closed and was hoping to connect and he got lucky it did! Garcia has no chance vs a 147lb Khan.
If Khan got caught by a hook because he left his right side exposed, then that's a case of Khan making a stupid mistake, not Garcia getting lucky.
This alway makes me laugh. So khan was schooling Garcia for the first two rounds of a four round fight? lol. Can we at least all agree that Khan got outboxed.
When he loses at 147 you'll say he needs to rematch him at 154 :rofl Just shut up, dude. Khan's chin is ****.
The moment Khan slows down even a little, he'll be getting KTFO even more often. All he has is speed, and he doesn't have the ring IQ to adapt. He also has a glass jaw.
