    At the NEC in Birmingham.

I really hope that it's not a paper bag of an opponent. I don't see what's wrong in going for the British title.

I'd like to see him fight Thaxton, Murray or Romanov. All can bang (especially Thaxton) but tough ****. The world now knows he's got a dodgy chin so he has to do something about it. Like work on his defence as he was reported to have done.

Amir, if you're gonna walk at someone, like Prescott, in a straight line then have a tight guard. He needs some ring discipline.

Oh, and Warren is apparently going to promote Prescott.

Anyone else think Fewkes is a possible next opponent?
However much people want it he isn't going to fight Thaxton, Romanov or Murray that's for sure.

Fewkes as well. This hurry-trip that Khan was on has turned into a violent car crash of a situation.

He needs to go through the ranks properly now. And like I said he'll have to find a way of dealing with the chin thing.

I'd have slapped him last night for the immaturity he showed.

Possibly - Fewkes team turned down the Sept 6th fight but he could be approached again.

Some uncertainty surrounding Fewkes now though after not making the Lightweight limit & losing his unbeaten record to Gethin at English Title level recently. Also, his trainer Glyn Rhodes has decided to sever ties with him apparently.

If you thought Khans opponents were poor before the Presscott fight, beware to be disappointed.

Didn't know his trainer had left him but it seems like a good option for both to me but it depends alot on whether Fewkes sorts out his weight issues.
Maybe Khan will fight someone alot easier than Fewkes though :think

Khan needs to get back to basics and forget about winning a wolrd title before whenever.

He needs to get his career back on track by taking sensible fights, sensible career steps and getting real wit himself.

One defeat isn't the end of a career, how you bounce back from it is far more important

I Cant Wait To See Khan Lose Again - Its All Been A Farcical Career Anyway - Especially A Boxer Who Wins Silver & Thinks He Can Win It All - Never Laughed So Much In My Life When He Went Down - As I Said Last Year Another Hamed Waiting To Be Exposed - & I Was Right

Thats a bit unfair on Hamed. he had some very good wins before running into Barerra.

I didn't realised Amir had unified the WBO, IBF and WBC belts.

Maybe Lee McAllister would be a "safe" fight for Khan. McAllister lacks KO power but has skill and it would be a decent fight without Khan hitting the deck inside the first minute.
