His jab is good but not even the best from his own country in his own weight class (that honor belongs to Brook) When people refer to his exceptional skill they usually do mean speed.
Really? I'd have to say his chin was his best attribute, absolutely LEGENDARY punch resistance. On par with the likes of Chuvalo and Hagler.
Yeah, he has speed, but what happens when someone takes away that speed with timing? He also tends to fade in the later rounds. I just don't see any way he could beat Floyd.
Manny has speed, and a much better footwork, ring I.Q and chin then Amir and he got knocked the hell out with 1 timed punch to perfection. Some styles, are just suited to other people's Its why I'd favour most Counter-punchers over current Amir. Amir will rack up the points but when he gets caught once its game over. Brook will Counter him, at will. JMM would probably knock him out. Thurman would. FJM dosen't have that Counter-punch power, Its why I'd favour Manny to beat him, and why I think Khan will win rounds before he adapts.
his skills are so amateur it's not even funny - his Jab is ok, his right hand is standard. his left hook is downright ugly, horribly inaccurate with his combinations, has no concept of parrying or rolling punches. Jab n' grab technique is a classless as boxing gets. He really has no boxing skills - just physical talents…height, length, speed.
Skill and talentless yet still became world champion. Some real Walter Mitty types on here. I bet you're all pro MMA fighters, 7 figure bank balance and have supermodel girlfriend rigbt
hes got journeyman level skills with elite level speed and tomato can level chin. the right opponent can make him look great, while the wrong opponent will make him look very limited.
