I'd GUESS he'd get into the Pakistan team on merit, they arn't a strong boxing nation.

The Pakistani lad who misses out will be disappointed (to say the least!!) but no more so than the Slovakian girl whose place was taken by th the Jamacian Merlene Ottey in the Olympic sprint events. Thats just the way the rules are, you can't blame Harroon from playing to them. At least Harroons immediate family is from Pakistan, Otteys had never set foot in Slovenia!!

Well i'm not accepting it :nono

He's not in the squad because at Flyweight there are at least 3/4 better boxers than him.

So he can sport a gumshield like his brothers now (he is fighting for them after all) but either way he'll be getting beat. He should have just turned pro.

He's not James Dickens has beaten him 3 times now in the last year and a half and he's only made the development squad. Let alone the likes of Stubbs, Yafai and Chapman

I doubt anybody cares about the opinions of all the other disappointed fathers. Shah Khan happens to have a high profile world champ & former olympic medalist for a son. Of course his claims of neglect (probably unfounded) are going to gain more column inches.

Is Tyson Fury a traitor as well? I seem to remember him turning out for Ireland having already boxed for England.
What about Jason McAteer, Clinton Morrison, Matt Holland, Phil Babb or Matt Macklin?
Or how about Lennox Lewis, Owen Hargreaves, Kevin Pietersen or Michael Lumb?

Look, I couldn't imagine representing any nation other than England, (if I were actually decent at any sport), but there are a lot of kids being brought up in insular, segregated communities who don't feel at all English/British, with more emphasis being placed on their routes/homelands.

I don't necessarily agree with this state of affairs, but let's face it England have benefited as well. We're in a world cup final on Sunday, and two of our players qualify to play for England by virtue of having one English parent (Pietersen & Lumb), having both been born abroad.

He is rated tenth in the country according to the rankings and has lost his last 3 fights.

    BINGO :deal

They aren't integrating themselves into British society and therefore should kindly get on a boat and **** back off to their 'homeland'

Segregated foreign communities is a huge problem in this country and they play no part whatsoever in stopping racial prejudice.
