It is something of a return for Khan, after getting KO'd in 50 seconds. Of course it is, to go from losing to a Colombian nobody to winning a title. How can you see that any other way?

And you have still failed to give him credit despite picking Kotelnik. Yes he has a crap chin, yes he'll get KO'd again, but tonight was his night and he won. Extremely poor, I really thought you had more about you than that.

I totally agree with the last part. Just enjoy a good performance and hopefully he'll do the same next time. I Khan(t) help but feel there is an Atlantic devide in these posts! (sorry about the pun).

Again, no one is disputing the fact that he has a terrible you ignorant *****. Can't you find it in your heart to show a just a little bit of respect for Khan's achievements?

You'd think that such an educated man would have the slightest bit of class.

This fight changes NOTHING about how bad Khan's Chin is. Prescott was just exposed last night on ESPN. Khan is awful. He fights like a robot and has no power.

    Let me ask you this:

Why did Roach say BEFORE the fight that even if they won they were going to drop the WBA belt? Who is the Mandatory for the WBA belt right now? Can you answer that?

And so what if it does, it takes nothing away from the fact he's a very good boxer. Maybe if you actually didn't have a chin fixation you'd realise that "chin" isn't everything. Then again you've never been a ring or even boxed in your life, sitting on a chair and predicting a fighter will get his "chin shattered".

.No-one is SAYING Khan has a good chin people are taking note that he boxed brilliantly and from being knocked out a year ago with his career in ruins has done brilliantly to earn back the respect of boxing fans by picking his career up again.

So what he'll lose a few and win a few, but thats boxing, people get schooled/knocked out/quit/lose in close fights/have wars, if you can't appreciate that happens and slag off those who have the balls to get in the ring and do battle for your entertainment then you're no fan at all.

Exactly. You can COUNT on Roach and Khan ducking ANYONE who can hit for as long as possible. This is the only thing that will delay Khan's inevitable rendezvous with the canvas!!:hey

Yes he has a bad chin, but he's still good enough to pull a very one-sided win despite the chin. That in itself deserves props.

I don't get how having a bad chin can make a fighter a joke. It's not really a fighters fault if he has a bad chin. If a fighter doesn't keep in shape or train well for a fight, or if a fighter doesn't show any heart, or blatantly ducks another fighter, that can make him a joke since those are things he has control over. But the chin? Heck, if anything, still being able to win despite being chinny should deserve even more props because that's like fighting with a handicap.

Of course it isnt a bold prediction. The man has poor punch resistence. He could get sparked 3 or 4 more times in his career and still be a succesfull Boxer. He's already a World Champ at 22.

No-one is calling him Chuvalo but you.

You and your ****wit chin-dribblers bring up the fact he has only beaten a man with a 32% KO ratio, yet you ****wits were the ones saying he would get KO'd. Who's the dip****?

There is always a ****ed up reaction on here after a fight, but it is always the Chin fetish brigade that cant give props when it is due.

The hard work and improvements Khan has made in his game deserves praise. His performance tonight against a proven World Champ deserves praise.

Your "Bold" prediction that a 22 yr Old World Champ with poor punch resisitance in and around 3 strong divisions will at some point get sparked out is hardly the stuff of ****in legend.

Some of you guys are amazing.

You pick him to lose by KO, act like it's ****ing written or something, and then when he pulls off an impressive/decisive win over a good title holder, you make threads like this.

Act like it's a bold prediction saying Khan will be KO'd again. Of course he will. It's no secret his chin is shaky, but he's worked hard to improve his defense and gameplanning in order to protect the chin, which deserves credit in itself. Just 10 months ago, he was KTFO in 50 seconds by a lesser fighter, so obviously there's been some improvement.

You guys are pathetic. When he DOES he stopped, you'll be trying to get all the credit in the world on the forum, making threads like "I told you Khan's Grade A China Chin would be SHATTERED." What's upsetting is that the guy who actually gets in the ring and puts his health on the line fails to get credit from you.

Rico and Zakman....**** off. You're not worthy of being boxing fans as far as I'm concerned. And don't give me that "I've been following boxing for 30 years" line. It's played the **** out.

(and I'm not even a Khan fan)

That's all he ever does. Strike has constantly made him look like a complete **** on this point. He never picks specifics, just says that someone will get knocked out eventually and of course 90% of the time he gets proved right in the end because it happens to most boxers. He was calling Audley Harrison a glass jaw for ages and predicting he'd lose every fight he took, and when he eventually got knocked out he started acting like he was Nostradamus or something :nut

    I've noticed this too...

These guys are the worst at picking fights precisely because they fixate on chins.
