Not sure if this has already been mentioned, But does anybody else think that Amir has a mental problem with his chin? I mention this because all of his showboating when he gets tagged and sometimes I feel he takes unnecessary risk to prove a point with everybody saying his chin is non existant?

Its bound to be difficult, he knows fine well that before every fight they will show the clips of the KO. He should be strong enough to overcome it though. Maybe he needs to see a sports psychologist.

I dont go on Twitter but does he get much stick for his chin on that?

Think his last few fights have proved there's no problem with his chin I just think its in his mind every fight that he has to prove it, its fun to watch but Dammit its dumb on his part. He just needs to get back to not getting in a brawl because he's not good enough to win fighting that type of fight!

i think because khan's had so much stick about his chin being made of glass, he feels that everytime he takes a big shot he has to prove to people he can take the shot and he's not troubled by it.
he does'nt have to keep proving this, but he's bound to be affected by all the stick he's taken about his chin and the prescott ko.

I think some of it is copying pacquaio, as well as the obvious trying to show off that he can actually take a shot or two.

Bloke thinks he's a Mexican now....I agree, he seems obsessed now with showing that he has a solid chin because when he wants to stay off the ropes he can. It was nearly rope-a-dope at times last night

Another way I think it affects him in fights is he will concedes rounds when taking eye catching shots that he could avoid, Think if he took on Ortiz and hung his chin out it would be goodnight.

Early doors he was hit to body and IIRC head and he did arms in the air thing, iditotic thing to do but he keeps doing it in each fight he's mentally flawed.

His chin's not as bad as people believe it's improved due to weight, training but at same time Watt made a good comment when he said 'a sharp puncher would hurt Khan'.

Nothing with his chin, you did watch the fight didn't you? Khan took tons of clean shots wasn't really hurt at any stage.

Trouble with amir, when he does tuck up on the ropes, he has literally no plan other than taking a few half blocked punches, and eventually rolling out of there or clinching.

He doesn't do a damn thing, doesn't throw, roll, nothing. Just tucks up and allows his opponent to bang away.

Such an obvious weakness in his game.

His chin is fine. The problem at 135 wasn't just the weight, he was tremendously top-heavy. Ariza has conditioned him a lot better, he's added a lot of weight to his legs without slowing and his balance is a lot better.

The problem is his defence is still atrocious. When he takes big shots, he's taking them full on without any real contact from the glove or arm before hand taking the sting out of it. Peterson may not be a big puncher, but he was still a 155lb man landing flush loaded power punches yesterday.

Khan showed he has a chin, but his defence is leaky as **** and he clearly has a massive insecurity about his chin. He definitely believes in it, but he still doesn't think others do, and he cares about what others think.

But yesterday showed some other glaring flaws. He can't deal with pressure at all. It was a bit evident Maidana fight, but he didn't cut the ring off well. Peterson did pretty well yesterday cutting the ring off and made Khan literally run away. Obviously he wasn't fighting inside either, he has trouble shortening up his punches.
