His fight against McCloskey would have been a commercial failure if it wasent mccloskey selling his allocation of tickets, loads of irish in that arena that night and easily 2 or 3 to 1 khan fans

 

I quite like him, I think hes deluded and not the brightest, but I always support him and have been to a fair few of his fights. Im not asian by the way.

 

There have been occasions where there were groups booing him. I can remember when he fought Barrera in the MEN, there seemed to be quite a few groups of inbred looking lads who had turned up to see him lose, they were probably racist ****s though. At the mccloskey fight people were booing but as Alba said they would have been mccloskey fans rather then just anti khan.
Most of the time though I dont think people who dislike him would spend the money to come watch him just to boo him, but I do think your right about a lot of people disliking him, I know half of me mates like him the other half think hes an idiot.

 

It wasn't just racist people booing there were genuine Barrera fans there aswell


and at the McCloskey fight I thought I was in Ireland the Irish fans created some noise

 

75% of Khan's UK fans are asian or black. Simple as that.

It's not racism from white fans, people can stop banging on about that. There's some racists yes but it's a TINY amount. This tiny amount probably don't even go to shows, they sit on Facebook and Twitter and post racist posts that they think is hilarious yet are making themselves look proper scallies.

The vast majority don't like him cause he's a bellend. Simple as that. Ricky Hatton was down to Earth and never said anything really deluded or arrogant in terms of what he thought of himself as a fighter. He was just seen as the boy next door.

Nas was asian yet he got loads of UK support because people again related to him. Average guy who worked hard and made it, went to the States early and had exciting fights. People liked him because despite his "arrogant" persona it was obvious he was just playing around and having a joke.

With Khan it's clear he really believes all these crazy things and acts like a spoilt child, especially when he loses "it was the man in the hat. The referee. Washington DC. Freddie Roach". Fans (including me) used to like Khan, I cheered for him at the Olympics. When he got flattened by Peterson everybody laughed at him because it was clear he was chinless after Sky and ITV spent so long hyping him up as a future hall of famer (seriously, I remember an ITV ad saying that). After that he went back to the drawing board and came back to win a world title and he won everybody's respect for showing he had heart and determination.

Ever since signed with GBP and moved to Amercia though he really has lost humility and if he ever wants fans to come back onto his side he needs to get a serious attitude change.

Khan has a large minority of Asian fans, he has plenty of white fans but it is safe to say 70%+ are asians.

If Khan wasn't surrounded by his team many people would like him.

He is too full of himself.

with khan being p@ki hasn't helped , being a pak and having $$$ has made it hard for certain people to like him.

Khan showed massive balls and heart last night but come on, find me anyone who says they think he'll win a legit world title now after last night? I'm not kicking him for the sake of kicking him, I'm kicking because he was crap. He won yeah, fairl play. I felt he boxed well enough to take the majority if the rounds but for long periods he took a beating from an old man cherry picked by GBP for Amir to steamroll through.
