A high workrate for Khan would be a disaster. He should flurry, get out, make Floyd lead, repeat, and try to snatch a victory, assuming he can come through any rough patches that Floyd can still cause whilst 'going forward', and coming into the pocket rather than waiting for his opponent to come to him. I do believe if Floyds economic style isn't working for him he will try harder to win, as evidenced as Shane but helped by Mosleys poor fuel reserves.

Khan is still sloppy enough that, if he does too much, Floyd will pick up on his patterns straight away and land crisp, accurate counters that do far worse to Khans equilibrium than Maidanas ponderous slugging.

Regardless of gameplan, Floyd is gonna' set traps that you need to be durable to withstand. He's not a massive puncher, but when Floyd throws, he lands with a sting that easily dissuaded even hardened contenders. You become more wary to sustain assaults.

This won't happen to Khan IMO. He'll try too hard, and that's why he'll lose. If he wants to win, he should be economic, and therefore shut Floyd down, who punches sparingly as of late.

Of course, Khans punches might not bother Floyd much. He might choose to intelligently walk Khan down like he did Mosley. Floyd is fairly strong still at 147, if he wants to delve into his bag of tricks to bully Khan and pepper him combos then he will.

I just see much more chance for Floyd winning than Khan. Especially having not seen Amir at 147 yet, and still questions to be asked of his effectiveness against a certain calibre of opponent.

I will say this: I would be more confident of him pulling it off than Ortiz.
