Yes, very. But his chin is still bad. Wait until he fights someone who can catch him with punches he doesn't see, or can counter him/punch him while his punching.

Keep in mind that Maidana didn't catch him with too many extended power shots, and rarely if ever with a counter punch or punch Khan didn't see, he's too slow for that. When Maidana landed on Khan with a fully extended power shot, Khan was hurt, but he did show resistance because he got hit by a few more fully extended shots while he was hurt and did not go down.
