What happens when Khan gets hit Flush for the first time on December 11 From a Maidana right Hand (jabs dont count since they aint power punches)

My guess is he will use his superior speed and reach to stay out of range and counter his aggression. I doubt he gets hit flush all night. If he does then we can pretty much say its over and thats not a knock on his chin. Its more of Maidanas raw power. I dont think anyone in the division can take it.

Im sure Roach worked on Khan circling away from the right hand with his jab and when Maidana throws the right hand out of range and at a bad angle he will get countered and go down.

If he catches the right hand that knocked Ortiz down...I don't expect him to take it any better than Ortiz did.

My prediction is still that Khan gets badly wobbled and possibly even knocked down within the first three rounds, and loses all three thanks to Maidana's pressure.

But he manages to keep his composure with Roach in his corner, and gradually uses his speed to counter and wear down Maidana, until he scores a TKO win around the 11th, also being ahead on the cards.

I hope I get to see this it'll be exciting but I fancy Maidana by KO. I don't think Khan can take power and pressure, I remember thinking before he fought Presscott that he'd have a few scares and go on to win. I know he has improved but Maidana is much more powerful than Presscott and has a better all round game aswell. The only department I'd say Presscott is better than Maidana in is reach. Let's remember that Presscott destroyed Khan inside a minute. Khan is a better boxer no dought but Maidana is good with those short hooks and I see him catching him and following it up inside 5. I'm 90% about that but if it goes on longer it's even stevens.

    x2.

At best he'll go down and get up to survive the round. He definitely won't remain standing.

Hes guna be hard to land flush on, i bet Roach is working his ass off getting that to happen. But 1 flush shot, which im sure will come will put him down, he will beat the count but he will go down again. IN THE 6th.

He swerves onto ***** street and gets knocked down. Possibly gets up and survives, although I doubt it.. Maidana has led heavy hands, if he can catch Khan there can be no doubt of who wins.

Khans in this fight because his team believe he can outbox Maidana, and keep his chin out of trouble.I'm not a Khan fan but i think he'll win the fight after a few scares, having said that,if Maidana finds the target the fights over.

    Yup. :good

Of course, the Khan nuthuggers will yammer on about how Amir would never catch a flush shot like that as if, somehow, he's so vastly superior to Ortiz from a defense standpoint that the mere thought of Marcos finding the mark against him his sheer boxing heresy.

I don't think so, dude. People everywhere seem to be overstating Khan's new defence. A person who's never seen him fight before, could easily be duped into thinking he's another Mayweather! I honestly think it's not where it needs to be to protect that awful weakness of his. Even post-Roach - Kotelnik and Malignaggi - Khan's chin hasn't been too hard to find. In those fights, a handful of punches managed to creep through without a problem. Fortunately for him, they weren't Maidana-punches.

12 rounds, or however long a relentless Maidana will force it to last, seems like a lifetime to go without getting hit flush at least once.

But you're right, though. Roach is more than aware of Maidana ending the night with just one shot. He even said "He has to avoid trading right hands, otherwise Maidana will knock him out."
