Khan has a big heart for sure but you cannot compare him to Gatti, Gatti also had a granite chin and was able to soak up punishment and keep coming forward and delivering shots. Khan has heart but with a glass chin there's only so far that'll take him
Khan has as big of a heart as anyone who has ever stepped into the ring. That doesn't mean he's as good as them, or whatever, but he has massive guts to fight like he does. If he was a bit more of a coward he'd probably be better off.
Exactly. How many times have we seen the old stay-down-til-the-ref-gets-to-9-and-then-make-a-really-slow-attempt-to-get-up-and-get-counted-out routine? It's not a part of Khans make up. Either is quitting. Khan is willing to die in there. He really is. He would have died in the ring on Saturday rather than quit. Thoughts of quitting just don't enter his head at all. Look at his reaction when Bayliss stops the fight.. you can't fake that. Say whatever you want about his chin/stupidity/attitude. Khans heart is something he deserves TONS of respect for.
:rofl funny thread Khan did what ANY fighter should do, why are you congratulating him on getting up? I think showing heart is a minimum requirement if you are a fighter and even more so if you are a world champion and even more that if you claim to be a superstar.
Heart? Well when you have a mega fight looming with Mayweather of course you are going to try your best and get up. This heart stuff is just bull****.
