''If we had the defence we should have had we would be the best fighter in the world. Thats the downfall of me and Manny Pacquiao were both offensively the best fighters in the world, but defensively were not the best.'' - Amir Khan, quote from the manchester evening news Discuss
At least he's realising he has a **** defence. And what he's implying isn't that ridiculous - that he and Manny would be better off with a more solid defence. But yeah, lumping himself in as one of the best offensive fighters in the world, is an exaggeration to say the least. But one step at a time, eh.
he didnt, he said offensively him and manny are the best in the world sounds like the finger is getting pointed at freddie cause he cant teach defence for **** :-(
Now usually I think Khan gets too much criticism for his comments. People sometimes blow his comments out of proportion and look for reasons to dislike him, but I was disgusted with this quote of his. I'll copy my response from the general forum Awful quote from him. His attitude is ****ed up. Pacquiao is just on another planet to Khan.
Again him saying how "we" lost the fight, you lost the fight Amir! Love how hes putting the blame on one of the best trainers in the world. I wonder how Manny feels about being lumbered into Khan's ramblings about how it was all Freddie's fault.
:rofl:rofl does he really believes this **** so he as better offense than gamboa i mean froch as better offense than khan , i mean record wise so does garcia
he really does not think before he takes action words he comes out with or the picture of him at a strip club and then he had to address his chubby ****stani citizen khan fans.
His attack is almost as weak as his defence. All he has is reach and handspeed. He's the kind of boxer who's best bet is to go for points wins, but instead he tries to trade with opponents (and either ends up on his rear end or get's a stoppage because of one of his McFlurries). Can't remember the last time he properly KO'd someone.
