    i always thought lifting weights slows you down?

    Because He should be back in L.A. with Ariza now.

    Anyway, I think they're looking to bulk up a bit more to handle Peterson's size a bit better.

    No, that's incorrect.


    Doing heavy reps at say.... 5 reps at 5 sets doesn't make you slow.

    Check stronglifts 5x5

    Two weeks out from the bout, can't see them wanting to do this type of training at this stage. But saying that, who knows what type of training they are doing, may not be as obvious as the picture suggests.

    Lifting weights 2 weeks out is stupid. You do lifting and explosive work in the beginning of camp, not the end.

    Surely they know what they're doing. But if he plans to be built as a bodybuilder then expect his stamina issues to increase.

    225 lbs? Id hope Khan could at least put that up once. I was 15, and 140 pounds myself...soaking wet and I was putting up 2 plates...

    How do you expand upon your max if you can only do it once to begin with? I've never lifted that way so excuse my ignorance.
