hes fighting an african with a 17-0(11KO) record, whos just as tall as khan, there fighting for the WBF strap, should be an interesting fight khans finally stepping in with a puncher god bless him
I'm hoping he's winding us up, however, do you think ITV will have the gall to bill it as a real world title fight?
You bet they will, but they won't push it too much. This mystery African fighter will no doubt be hyped up as Khan's biggest test, and a "real dangerman".
well he is a danger man, hes the same size as khan punches as hard as khan has the same reach as khan, So the hype would be justified
It would depend on what level this guy has fought at. Do we know who he is? Has it been confirmed? Undefeated, unknown African fighters have been known to give British fighters major grief in the past, whilst other times they can look like they've never even put on a pair of boxing gloves.
Assume you mean Mlungisi Dlamini? Where has he been announced as Khan's next opponent? If anyone has a link please post it. Can't see anything on FWTV or boxrec.
This is rumour mongering of the lowest order. Spreading false words of an opponent we have never heard of. At least Barry Mcguigan went for the jugular with his talk of Manny Pac as a possible Khan opponent.
Agree - if posters are going to start rumours they need to be of a high standard! Just as well this so called "danger man" Dlamini is not next up as although unbeaten in 18 may look impressive, if you take a closer look at his record his opponents are not all that....
I was in Bolton on Saturday and spotted Warren vetting applicants in mothercare!I saw one potential opponent turned away because he snapped a farleys rusk clean in half:roflDate and venue announced but no opponent!Surely the wrong way round? But as usual the place will be sold out before they even tell you who he is fighting. If they sent Les Dennis in with him the gullable British public will sit their clapping like seals and McGuigan will try and pass him off as a credible opponent.Get in with Romanov and earn a bit of self respect before you reach the point of no return.
