Khan's next opponent is likely to be Casaayor/Katsidis

    Yes, according to the scene which reports on the pugilisitic arts, they have a direct quote from Richard Schaeffer saying his next opponent is likely to be Casamayor or Katsidis. Thats kind of disappointing, but I guess the July 31st date did leave very few options. He also said it'd be a double header with the Marquez-Diaz rematch, with the winners of each bout teeing off.

    Personally i'd rather that he fought and got a UD off prescott. However if he does fight those listed, i'd like it to be at 135. I think he could still go down there and become the undisputed champ.

    Too young, too fast, too fresh for Casa. Casa can try and make it a dog fight but that isn't him naturally. Casa is a good win on paper but I fear we might see something similar to Campbell-Ortiz.

    Katsidis is a good bout. He isn't 140 pounds but he is a heavyily muscled fighter who might be even fresher not having to drain that extra 5 pounds. He is tenacious and has decimated 2 brits. On boxrec it looks like Katsidis has weighed in a few times at 140 so he knows what it feels like.

    Plus we all want to see Khan in with someone who if they touch his chin, it's danger danger.

    Katsidis shouldn't fight Khan at 140lbs, he is to tall and fast for him.

    Unless he gets a **** load of cash Kats shld stay at 135lbs and rematch Casa

    Maybe use it as a stepping stone on the way to fighting Mundine at middleweight, he's a great fighter and a great guy, but totally and utterly bonkers lol

    katsidis could be a tough fight. yes katsidis will have a disadvantage in size, but his style of taking one to give one is the sort of style that could cause khan problems.

    casamayor should not be such a tough fight for khan. both relie on speed and rexes, and not only is khan the faster, fresher boxer, he's also bigger aswell.

    i would like to see khan fight prescott, but since mitchell beat him, it's took away alot of significance out of that bout.

    Why on earth is he fighting 2 lightweights? That's what pisses me off about him, he is being fed opponents. I dont think Kats will come up before he fights JMM/Diaz, so its Casa.

    Kats next and then the winner of Diaz/ JMM would be a decent enough schedule (obviously it won't be enough for everyone!!).

    I'm disappointed by this. Katsidis-Khan is an intriguing fight, but Casa doesn't bring anything to the table. As a massive fan of JMM, I don't want him to be jumping up to face someone as big and fast as Khan either. If a fight with JMM happens at 135 - which it won't - then at least there'd be an interesting angle on it, but at 140 it means relatively little and Khan has all of the advantages.

    Controversial comment: Looks like Bradley has ruined the 140 tournament. Khan and Alexander wanted it and Bradley went way out of his way to avoid Alexander:-(.

    Alexander is fighting Kotelnik.

    Would you rather see Khan rematch Kotelnik instead then?

    Would that be a better fight than these two? Both can easily test Khans chin.

    First off,

    Khan is fighting on short notice because of Ramadan and wants a stay busy fight before he takes a long break.

    Who's Alexander fighting? Kotelnik. Would you prefer Khan rematch Kotelnik then?

    Bradley's fighting a nobody.

    Maidana is injured.

    They have more than enough power to test Khan's chin.
