    Read the post! I said there are better guys out there than McCloskey! :nut

    Murray isnt one of them! Nor are any of the guys that Team Khan said they are talking to.

    Murray is a better in terms of it being a bigger fight.

    McCloskey is a tougher fight.

    It seems Murray was prepared to put his money where his mouth was and accepted the Khan offer and McCloskey and his team just moaned about it. I agree Team Khan were taking the **** but McCloskey and his team have just come across as trying to make a quick buck.

    Team Khan is becoming rediculously stupid.

    They should be announcing the opponent on Monday and still nothing is secure.

    I do hear Murray is a strong favourite, but the way Negotiations with the Khan's have been, I have no doubt in my mind that they'd be disputing something.

    Hopefully it's done. Pretty sick and tired of all this.

    Murray isnt a bigger fight by any stretch of the imagination, and especially internationally where it wont be seen as a credible fight. Both would sell out the MEN but McCloskey would draw money international attention and domestic PPV, in my humble opinion.

    McCloskeys team just moaned about Team Khan taking the ****. Interesting terminology Rab! Usually moaning is used to describe the unwarranted whinging and whining which I dont feel this falls into.

    Its just your bias shining through again Rab!

    A Khan-Murray fight will equal a Khan-McCloskey fight. It may not benefit from Irish PPV, but it won't be too far behind in the numbers it can generate. Murray and Khan will be massive in Manchester.

    And none of these fights will be seen as intriguing internationally, so I don't know why you think McCloskey will do any better than Murray in getting worldwide approval.

    Fact is, if Khan doesn't get McCloskey, it's no big deal. He was always second choice to a Lamont Peterson anyway. McCloskey needed Khan.

    Think the offer is poor and Hearn gave sound advice. I negotiate prices for a living and this is rediculous.

    This is stupid, and it's killing the sport.

    Khan is a fighter, not a promoter. If he wants to promote he might as well retire and then run around trying to take promotion options on other people's fights.

    This Klitschkoesque rematch clause is also pretty stupid.

    McCloskey would generate more money as Khan-Murray.

    Internationally McCloskey would be more acceptable as he is in the Rings top ten at Khans weight.

    McCloskey may well be behind Peterson in Khans choice opponent but if you think that Team McCloskey and Team Khan are a million miles away from each other in terms of their negotiations then the Peterson ones should be fun as he is demanding $600,000 and wont be having any time for those Khan slavery clauses.

    Khan doesnt need McCloskey, but McCloskey doesnt need Khan either. Dudey is inches away from a WBC eliminator and with Olusegun and Chebah off and Alexander losing last night then he could we have a WBC shot by the end of the year - and all without being anally raped by the Bolton Mafia!
