retires if he loses and fight presscot if he wins but its very unlikely for the latter to happen imo iv put some good money on a Huge KO tommorow night
Khan aint retiring if he loses. End game is though he cant be looking ahead, he has a mammoth task ahead of him right now.
depends on how he wins or loses.... if he dominates kotelnik by a wide points win or KO....I see khan facing potential big names soon.....if he gets a close win, you will see him fight similar opponents in kotelnik, maybe a urango.... If he loses badly by brutal KO his carear might be over.....if he loses a close points decision, he can still and probably will go on....
Really though,I think he would vacate the title but then I don't think he'll win. It's an interesting one
Khan wins: A prime Morales if the hype is anything to go by. Personally, I think he has to fight Maidana if he wins against Kotelnik and then maybe take a fight with another titlist to unify some of the alphabet belts. He'd deserve kudos for that. Khan loses: He's off to the level he should have fought at to begin with- British and European level. I don't see what else Warren does with him other than that. I don't think he'd be silly to rematch Khan with Prescott after a loss. The question is, if Khan does lose- does he stay at 140 or return to 135?
If Khan loses a lot will depend on the way he loses. If he's competitive then he can come back but if he get's sparked early again then his days at the top are over (not that they ever really started...).
I think khan is done at 135 win or lose.....i do buy roach's argument he was weight drained at 135......
They have it all planned. If he wins they will say there is no one left at Light Welterweight for now and send him back down to fight a shot to pieces Morales a massive payday, then cherrypick opponents and jump the queue to WBO top spot, claim a vacated strap and fight a blown up flyweight in his first defense. If he Losses they will adopt the same strategy and Warren will try and make as much cash out of him before leaving him for dead leaving his career in the ****. Lets face it though either way he will be able to retire with a lot of ****ing cash in the bank.
If Khan wins Maidana and Salita, his mandos would be good fights. There world class but not anything special and if hes going to move beyond the stage he is at he will need to move on. Morales is a pointless fight, hes already beaten a faded mexican. After those mandatorys im sure a Hatton figth could get made, of not Junior Witter if its a unification. Malignaggi would make sense at the garden. Then he might be ready for some bigger names.
If Khan beats Kotelnik in style, it will open alot of doors for him in the near future, everything depends on his performance vs Kotelnik.
