Dyo know what, Matthysse wouldn't be a bad choice. He was unlucky not to get the decision against Judah.

McCloskey's alright as well. Just the Yanks seem a bit cheesed off by that but **** 'em.

Tbh, I'd be more likely to buy a Khan-McCloskey PPV than Khan-Peterson. Especially if it's Murray-Linares for the co-feature :hey

Its only a Saturday afternoon/ delayed fight for the Yanks so maybe their money input and therefore their say in opponents won't be what it usually is?

A fight with McCloskey would be ****. McCloskey is ****. At least put Khan in with someone who he would be competitive with.

Yeah, HBO can't be paying much for this. It'll be about the Sky PPV.

Just hope it all gets sorted soon. Too much fannying around atm.

As long as its not prescott or Guerrero I'd be pleased. Has to be a light welter in the top 15. Peterson, McCloskey and Matthyse all sound fine.

lets have khan vs McCloskey , McCloskey's been wanting a title shot for awhile let him have it.

**** Peterson moaning about money when he get's a chance to fight for a world championship.

What a ****ing knob , we know what he's in the game for.

McCloskey is a good shout, he's awkward but not too dangerous, would be good to see Khan in with someone tricky who has above average power if he catches you with a peach, which with McCloskeys rhythm could happen. Look
for Khan to outclass and stop him late in a pretty interesting fight where Khan can show if he can be disciplined and whether his jab is formidable against a fairly decent southpaw. I would say McCloskey is at the top of the European pile, without being amazing and not being a massive puncher, it's intriguing enough and a bit out of the box that I wouldn't complain.

Matthyse is a poor mans Maidana, **** that. I'm not interested in Jidah and never have been, John Murray I'd feel as about as intrigued as McCloskey, only that Mccloskey is more of a 140lber.

I'd genuinely be interested to see Khan-McCloskey, even though McCloskey probably isn't World class. I think it's a fairly interesting stylistic match-up nonetheless.

It'll probably be totally uninspiring, like Prescott for instance. Big step back IMO.

Mcloskey is ****, Khan will absolutely demolish him. At least this Irish opponent is a full time boxer right enough....

    No mention of McCloskey?

    I feel it'll be Prescott.

I really hope it's not Prescott. I mean I get it would be good to avenge his defeat but aside from that the fight has nothing of value, not for Khan's standing or his development. Prescott would barely be a good opponent for McCloskey or Peterson, actually he'd be shite for either.

Any of the other guys listed would be good up there would be good.

In terms of preparing Khan for a fight with Bradley or Alexander Lamont Peterson was a great opponent but in terms of building a PPV it wasn't. Here is the order of fights i would like to see Khan in.

Off the 4 listed i would like to see Prescott rematch. Murray and Guererro should stay at Lightweight, even fight one another on the undercard. Matthysse i would rather see him build his way back up towards a title fight.

Personally I wanna see a rematch with Maidana.

McCloskey is not ready for Khan yet. I don't think the fight sells many more tickets or PPV's than any other fight either.
