not as bad as people make out,i mean he dominated,he landed clean,he barely got hit,he got on the inside towards the end and started conecting with sharper harder punches and hurt mckloskey.

mckloskey did everything to spoil and nothin to make a fight of it,nothin to win rounds, nothing to entertain his fans who travelled so far to see him lose.

I do wonder about the switch and ad******g to a new fitness trainer guy.

also all this travelling, and what was his sparring like for this guy aswell?.

in hindsight he should have gotten a brawler type opponent who would have given it a good go,gone to him, opened up to get countered, and given the fans a better fight to watch.

maybe he chose mckloskey due to southpaw and awkwardness just like judah would be for him to fight?,i think its more so that his team are tight ars* amateurs who couldnt secure a better opponent with a better style to fight in a homecoming exhibition.

It wasn't that bad. Its just he was fighting an undeserving opponent who didn't come to fight, didn't present him many opportunities and was content with trying to make Khan miss thus making it sometimes ugly, sometimes boring.

    That's a very good point.

The old timers when they were looking ahead to a tougher fight down the road, with say a southpaw would tune up against a similar style opponent. So in effect you're getting to prepar for that opponent in two camps.

If i'm not mistaken each time Mayweather has faced a tough opponent, he picked a similar style beforehand to get his feet wet. He would never fight Pacquiao for example without facing a southpaw just before.

Well he won every round easily but he was a bit careless . It may have been down to how little he and Roach rated McCloskey and he knows he'll have to be far more disciplined against Tim.

:good Spot on. All these flaws are why Bradley beats him all day long. The key is he will punch with him. And he will come from low, which Kahn found difficult to deal with against PM. I dont feel Kahn has the power to hurt Bradley. And i see Kahn being warned often, and losing points for pushing Bradleys head down when he gets close....Not that it'll matter as he gets stopped imo. I did think Maidana would get to him, and had money on the last 3 rnds. Style wise and pysically, Tim Bradley is a bad night for Kahn.

Quite a few have, Audley Harrison had that plan. Whether they have been successful with the plan is an entirely different matter.

I will re-watch it again. I am concern about this KID seems his hand eye coordination is not GOOD he needs to practise with the tennis ball attached to a string and keep punching it. He just needs to land those shots and keep them 1-2 not quick combos. Just 1 hard shot pick his shot on the counter. But as I was watching him break down the Irish lad I was screaming can to go on BOMB mode, he had him. He has to finish!! Not stand and appreciate his work. He needs the killer instinct.
