i have to say khan's silver was a better achievement, because he was only 17 years old, more impressive in gettin to the final (KOin the korean in the first round) and only losing to an amatuer legend in the final, plus the fact that he his making noise in the pro's and is 1 year younger than Degale

Degale's gold is better. Khan may have done well, but he ended up coming second in a boxing match, silver is a consolation prize. Olympic gold is the absolute pinnacle of success for an amateur boxer.

Kindelan may have been a legend, but he was a faded legend. Khan may have been younger, but that doesn't make up the gap between silver and gold.

khan faced a much much tougher final to try and win gold. Kindelan may not have been at his absolute peak, but he's still one of the greatest ever cuban boxers, and given the fact that khan was only 17 at the time, while degale had plenty of amateur experience, i'd rank khans achievement as better. or at least on par.

After 18 fights there isnt many if any fighters who have 50/50 fights. Khan has flaws agreed, he should fight Javier Jauregui next, the guy who Peterson fought in his 28 pro fight, if khan was fighting fighters like this now nevermind his 28th pro fight he would still be getting slated.

khan gives a cuban legend his toughest fight at the tender age of 17 and degale struggles with the a novice.

DeGale. I wasn't expecting anything from him, and he got gold. Gold, not silver.

Probably had his head stuck up his arse at that age and going by the **** he was mouthing last week his head is still up his arse.

Khans achievement was far greater than Degale's. Olympic golds do not always mean much, even Audley has one.

and you were expecting something from a 17 year old khan who was the only Brit to qualify

What does him being the only Brit to qualify mean? Does that somehow reflect on his individual talent?

I thought Khan could pinch a medal, whereas Groves looked a better prospect for a medal than DeGale. I couldn't see anything for him, wouldn't have been surprised if he went out in the 2nd round

He got gold, not silver, and he did so by beating very good competition.

All your horse**** about Khan's pro "achievements" are bollocks too, its irrelevant and stinks of huggery since he's done nothing.
