Come on !....DAMN IT !...Is fedor ****ing retired or what ? Anyway , even though these 3 aren't part of ufc's division , i personally think a title fight such as : Overeem vs Kharitonov III (for the dream hw belt)... Or Fedor vs Overeem (for strikeforce) would be awesome... ( It's a real shame that Werdum , who already defeated Overeem in the past , skipped the opportunity at a title fight) There's actually some great HWs outside the UFC at the moment... Barnett (roid user , but undeniably well rounded) Fedor Overeem Antonio Silva Kharitonov Werdum... What the **** are they waiting for ?....There's some great, potential 2011 HW fights if these guys and their managers can agree to make these match ups happen under the strikeforce or dream banner.
You think Overeem is on steroids? And Kharitonov Overeem? Didnt you see their first fight when Overeem knee'ed his face to ****? Havent you seen how **** Sergei is in the K1? It would be another striking match and Sergei would get pulverised. Anyway Id rather wait for this SF GP. They need to make that happen. Plus they can add other guys to the GP like AA Rogers and maybe even Monson and Sylvia. Wooohooo! GP PRIDE style!
Either one of those fights would be good. Instead we'll just get Overeem continuing his dominance against a string of cans. It's a shame really, because Overeem has the goods to be the best in the world - but if he never fights a top heavyweight, we'll never know how good he currently is.
:huh You think? Alek's think's he's Muhammed Ali. He really thinks he's boxing is that good. I wouldn't even call him a striker. As despite having heavy hands he striking technically is atrocious much less from a boxing standard. He's painfully easy to hit.
A SF Grand Prix will settle the heavyweight division. SF just need to negotiate hard and get them all to put pen to paper.
