If Khoders goals are: Set up the best possible fights for his fighter Make a true name for Mundine on the world scale Develop his fighter in to a true world beater Give the public and fight fans the fights we want to see him in Grab as many titles as they can and truly go down in (at least Australian) history as a great and Beat the best in his chosen divisions to make true the claim of being 'the man' or 'the best' Then yes. He is the most miserable manager in the history of the sport. Unfortunately his goals actually read the exact opposite, plus one: Set up the easiest possible fights for his fighter Make no name for Mundine on the world scale Develop his fighter in to a wannabe world beater Give the public and fight fans the fights we tell them/him they want to see him in Grab as many fake or paper titles as they can and truly go down in (at least Australian) history as a chump that everyone wanted to see KO'ed, even though they got it in his 11th fight and Beat the best taxi drivers in Argentina in his chosen divisions to make a mockery of the claim to being 'the man' or 'the best' Dupe the public into thinking he is doing the opposite of all of the above Since this seems to be what the fat ***** is all about, then no, he would be one of the most successful ever. As a fan of Mundine through thick and thin so far (and still to a degree - just on hiatus til he fights someone with a pulse) - **** KHODER and all his fat money grubbing glory :vonnecunt:****off:ko:fylzdieissKHODER
I sincerely hope somebody on Khoders team reads this thread... (but then again will it really affect a man with no conscience?)
It should affect him. The guy has caused me so much dissapointment over the past 2-3 years. I don't think anyone can call him a good manager. Because he has come up way short of the money he could have earnt since 2006. After beating Green Mundine could have made a lot more money, fighting better fighters, that he could have beaten. And that still includes avoiding Kessler and Calzaghe. Lets see Beyer, Froch in 2006 wanted a bout with Mundine and it would have been a one sided schooling. Im not going to go into it any further on the fighters part. He has the ability. And dare i say he would have wanted to make it. But some slime ball with no respect to boxing. No respect to fans of his assett. The Mundine name will never recover. Not in Australia, not globally. And thats sad considering what Tony Mundine senior did and the way he carried himself.
I think hes smart....made **** loads and Mundine if hes good enough can still beat a big name or 2. I think team Mundine are sitting back waiting for a few more vacant titles or easy targets....they dont come up much....but if you hang around long enough you may just get a few. If Mundine could beat a Lorenzo type guy for the IBF next year and maybe the vacant WBA against a Sylvester type fighter then his stock goes up big time and all ends well. This plan wont work if Mundine takes hard fights and gets another "L" on the record. However I would like to see Mundine fight guys at least in the top 30 in the world....not top 90 :-(
Khoder mustn't be much of a deal maker. The only fights he's really scored for Choc of merit were the Ottke and Echols fights. All other fights he's arranged he would have dictated talks, against much lesser opposition. Kessler had to fight Choc as his first defense and then there are the Green and Soliman fights, which are all-aussie battles. I can't believe in 3 months, all Nasser could manage is a journeyman from Argentina who has probably the worst record of a fighter Choc has fought since Rico Chong Nee. This fight deserves to be on superboxer, not a PPV.
Khoders just secured a fight with the rugged tough Falliga and you all whinge like hes fighting a nothing opponent. He keeps bringing the big fights to Australia, his track record is impeccable.
I always knew you were a Mundine fan....but never expected you to come out this strong so fast.......I admire your courage :yep
I think most here are being too hard on Khoder Nasser. I will make a few points - # Anthony employs Khoder not the other way around. # Anthony would have the final say on who he fights. # Anthony could easily instruct Khoder to go all out and make a fight with some top quality guys. Anthony might have to travel and take on a smaller purse than usual but if Anthony is as good as he spouts than a victory would lead to bigger and better fights and more $$$$. # Anthony simply is not good enough to beat the elite level boxers out there. He has tried twice in his career and been comfortable beaten. Anthony and Khoder simply don't want to go there again and have resigned themselves to making a fortune fighting C and sometimes D level opposition.
Choc is good enough to beat the best as hes proven time and time again. With Khoder at the helm, its no wonder the "true top fighters" are in no hurry to face him. Falliga should be applauded for taking his life into his own hands yet you pricks just bag everyone involved.
It's fair to say that most posters here would love nothing more than to see Geale beat Mundine in Feb, hopefully badly!
Dont think so mate.....now with Leon on the nut hugger list I think that swings the balance of power Mundines way
Gotta say Leon's surprise defection to the dark side is significant! With Leon swinging off Anth's left nut and yourself off the right one it's a formidible combination! Haven't seen a defection like this since King Curtis got concussed and became a good guy on World Championship Wrestling in the eary 70's after years of being a bad guy! Oh my...!!!
